Arnold will be campaigning for Bush in Ohio. It's over. Get yourself some cigars and a bottle of wine, my republican friends - milk is for babies.

MONTEREY, Calif (Reuters) - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said on Monday that his speech backing President Bush at the Republican Convention in August resulted in a cold shoulder from his wife, Maria Shriver, a member of the famously Democratic Kennedy family.
"Well, there was no sex for 14 days," Schwarzenegger told former White House Chief of Staff Leon Panetta in an on-stage conversation in front of 1,000 people.

"Everything comes with side affects," he said, drawing laughter from the crowd.

Panetta, a Democrat, had asked how Shriver, whose uncle was President John F. Kennedy, had reacted to his praised but partisan convention speech.

Schwarzenegger referred to Shriver several times in the 90-minute conversation.

"I don't know why I watched the presidential debates," he said. "If I want to watch a smart liberal Democrat and a Republican leader argue, all we have to do is go out to dinner. They were lucky. They only had to do it three times."

Asked about the difference between following Hollywood movie scripts and being on his own in politics, he quipped: "When you're married to my wife, you're never your own boss."

California is expected to support Democratic challenger John Kerry in the election in two weeks, and Schwarzenegger, who faces re-election in 2006, has been careful not to offend the majority Democratic voters in his state.

"I think both (candidates) are doing a great job; it's very tedious to be out there campaigning a year and a half," he said at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy in Monterey. "You make one mistake and you lose the presidency."

Schwarzenegger said the one state where he might campaign for Bush outside of California was Ohio, where he owns a gym and sponsors an annual body building competition.

"I said to the president I'm perfectly willing to go to Ohio if he needs me there but I can't travel around from state to state because I'm working for the people of California," he said

The media is 87.3% for Kerry which makes the race look close because of their bias when in reality Americans will no doubt vote Bush back in. If the media was a little more balanced these jackals would not even have a sliver of hope left.

That's so true, Game.

What the media is doing to the libs is criminal. The tears that will be pouring from the ducts will be so great that I don't think I'll be able to control my laughter come late election night.

I was disappointed greatly with Bush in the debates but if you step back a minute and reflect on it - What is going to happen in the next generation when we have someone who will actually have the balls to demoralize the liberal candidates with well spoken language. I'll sacrifice a few percentage points on the Bush victory because of the debates - no biggy.:drink:

Bringing Arnold into Ohio is DESPARATION time. Even Bush's own internals show him losing in Ohio. He hasn't polled over 50% there in a month. They are panicking. Hey, maybe he'll tout his opinion on stem-cell research. Besides, I'm not so sure how Mr. Hollywood Arnold will play in Ohio. I guess he'll be touting Bush's non-existent jobs plan. Good luck Ahhhnold.

Yes, Ohio may be out of play...for Bush. :aktion033

This shows how whacked out you are a recent survey of media types showed 8 out of 10 voted for Gorelioni. Surely it's increased for this election by 7.3%.

He's an independent much like Jesse Ventura but he's a capitalist. He apparently is pro-choice and also believes in junk science ( aborted stem cell research ) but you have to remember that he is basically a living, breathing chemical factory himself.
Don't worry fellow pubs, he won't run for president in 08, that's Guiliani's job - like it or not. If Kerry did manage to steal this election, look for Hilliary to be appointed to the Supreme Court.

CINCINNATI (AP) 20 October 2004 -- A poll out today puts the presidential race in

Ohio at a statistical dead heat.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 align=right border=0><TBODY><TR><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

The University of Cincinnati's Ohio Poll of likely voters found

48 percent backing Democrat John Kerry to 46 percent for President

Bush. The remaining six percent say they'll back someone else or

are undecided.

The spread between Kerry and Bush is within the poll's four

percent margin of error.

The telephone poll of 757 likely voters was taken last week.

Previous statewide polls had given Bush the lead in Ohio and the

last Ohio Poll in September gave Bush an eleven-point lead, but

those were taken before the debates between the candidates started.

In the Senate race, the poll found Republican incumbent George

Voinovich with a 62 percent to 35 percent lead over Democratic

challenger Eric Fingerhut.
