I used to do online sports betting back when you had to use things like netspend to send money back and forth. Now that it's actually legit here in Ohio I'm back at it. It's been a long time so I hope to shake off the rust pretty quickly.

I placed my first legal bet outside of Nevada on monday. A little casino out in the middle of nowhere. It's on Indian ground, they are the only one that didn't partner up with a big corp. They went independent. They are using IGT for their lines. So far so good with them. I remember when we thought the day of legal betting would never come outside Nevada.

Washington State. Haven't bet in California yet. I believe California all the tribes went indie because the prop didn't pass. Up in Washington, they are mostly teamed up with the big guys like MGM, Fanduel, ect. But i found one that went Indie.

Hears the Governor of Ohio is raising the tax on Legal Sportsbooks in Ohio from 10% to 20%. Make a deal stick w/it in my humble opinion

Sounds like this tax will be for the Sportsbooks, not the bettor. ie: tax on winnings should not change. 24% of $600 or more….. Hope it is only on them…
