and another thing

mccain really isn't moving past 45/46 anywhere..he's just brought obama down a bit..which is to expected when you outspending and attacking the other guy...it's still august

you guys applauding the polls were the same ones saying.....polls don't matter probably when obama was leading

No. You know what's funny. Is four years ago any Zogby poll favoring Kerry was instantly discredited because "He is that jewish guy doing a poll, he is a left winger. Means nothing." But now presents a favorable poll for dinosaur and it's great news.

Give me a break.

Only one worth checking is Rasmussen. Rest are garbage. Obama + 3 posted 10 minutes ago.

Keep in mind That both AlGore and "Paper Purple Heart" Kerry were ahead of GW by double digits this time of the year in 2000 and 2004.

Obama goes around the world and proclaims himself to be the messiah.

Then when asked his opinion on abortion during a debate says "Its above my pay grade."....pathetic or what?

Since the begining of time democrats always are ahead in the polls. The most accurate way to measure is to take whatever the dems numbers is and subtract 10-15%....and its probably even more so this time around with the fact that people don't want to be labled a racist by saying they are voting for McCain.

Would a McCain victory expedite your expatriation?

Only way Obama has a snowball's chance is if he names Hillary, and I don't think that's gonna happen. Betit, or anybody else focusing in on making money on the veepstakes, are you buying into this Biden stuff? I am now that I see somebody offering to sell 269 shares of Bayh at 3-1 on intrade. Hearing rumors about the announcement coming Saturday for Bayh, but those must be just rumors. Like I said, his only shot at winning is Hillary.

One thing about Rasmussen that makes him pretty stout though this year is, he does automated phone polling, where people won't vote Obama just to show a live pollster that they're not a racist. So I think McCain is still down right now by 2 or 3 points, but like Patriot said, that always changes. And it will again. Especially when McCain will wipe the floor with Obama during the debates. As much as I don't like McCain among the Republicans, he is by far the best debater, save for maybe Huckabee. If no October surprise, McCain by 4.

McCain's performance at Pastor Warren's Saddleback debate was simply marvelous.

Now we know why Obama won't debate McCain in any unscripted townhalls.

At this point, Obama is hemorrhaging badly and only Hillary can prevent a complete meltdown.

Joe, do you think there are last minute meetings in Obama's camp, thinking about begging Hillary for Veep? Personally, I think that's why they may be waiting so long. Hillary's been awful quiet the last 3 or 4 days.

Funny shit, the messiah, a gift from God according to Pelosi, can't answer a question about abortion.
