I'm not very familiar w/ the subject. Does anyone know anything about offshore banks?
If you get an offshore bank, will the US Govt know that you have one? Is it possible to send funds directly from your sportsbook to your offshore bank account? Thanks

Red- Offshore banking does not have the advantages as it did 2-10 years ago.

Listen, have faith the government is not going to make offshore gambling illegal, pay your taxes, and dont worry about it. Good luck!

I don't see the point in anyone paying taxes on something the US Govt considers illegal.
I don't think drug dealers pay taxes.
Why should people who bet offshore pay taxes when the US Govt considers its illegal because you are supporting terrorism, laundering money etc...

Because you are not supportig terrorism, laundering money, or technically doing anything illegal. I understand your concerns though, we all have them. My biggest beef is with the government intruding on my rights to place a wager, I have no problem paying income taxes on my winnings.

Well, I guess we have different views on the subject. Many politicians have said gambling on the internet is illegal, so screw them.

You can't go wrong with NatWest. I opened mine up while living in Gibraltar a few years ago. Online access worldwide and I can transfer funds in and out to wherever I want. Also very important...an ATM card that can be usded worldwide.

I'm sure most people do have a problem paying income taxes on their winnings.
What percent pay tax on their winnings?
10-20 percent max imo.
