Calvin, I didnt see your issue until just today, I must have missed it for some reason.

when I wrote this rule:

-Plays must be posted as instructed, or will be graded NO ACTION.

It was meant to address people who posted plays wrong such as not including the line, or whatever else it was not intended for missed plays.

actually if you take a look at the Pick 4 rules here:
http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=499941

its actually the same thing, in fact I used the same template for the pick 6 contest.

You are absolutely right that it is not mentioned in the rules that missed plays are graded as losses, however, this was the intention for both contests. those who have played in the pick 4 before know this. I deeply apologize for any confusion. I will be updating the rules immediatly.

Since this contest was meant to mimic the pick 4, I am going to have to stand by Jmans grading of 0-6. (which was always the intention).

I will have to rely on these rules to make that judgment call

-If there is ever a conflict in the rules, the contest Moderator will have to make a judgment call, that judgment call is final
-During the course of the contest, from time to time, the contest moderators will be required to make a judgment call or rule on a situation, their ruling will be final and will not be open for debate.

I hope you are not too upset with this

No, I'm fine with this. It's understandable as I can see the "intent" of those Pick 4 and Pick 6 contests even though they are both season-long contests. They are different from the regular season contests out there, so I can see how missed plays has to be graded as all losses.

I guess I'll be more careful in participating in future season-long contests, especially the post-up ones, and see if there would be a caveat (I much prefer a "minimum number of plays" per month/season concept... rather than missed plays being graded as a loss).

For instance, in either Pick 4 or Pick 6, I would have loved the ability to miss a week without an impact (and for everyone else to have that luxury as well, again, especially on a post-up contest) but BE REQUIRED to have at least XX number of entries each month and/or full season.

My last opinion piece here. Matter is closed. Thanks for replying, SS.
