Offense and Defernsive rankings

Been seeing team A is ranked 88th team B is ranked 12th. In college football these stats are total nonsense, you must consider opponents, venues, soft yards, and matchups.

Good example is Washington Huskies, probably high rank defense, but have played nothing but offensive monsters, Washington one of the top 20 defenses in the country without a doubt, same goes for Arizona who is a top 10 defense.

On the flip side you have Big 10 and SEC defenses ranked high, but these teams are seeing horrible offenses week in and week out.

Totally disagree.
Any top three Big 10 team could lay 30 points on Washington. The reason PAC 10 teams look like offensive monsters is due to playing non defense teams like Washington. To say that the SEC and Big 10 have horrible offenses is just showing a profound lack of knowledge of these divisions.
PAC 10 = NO Defense.

SEC offensese are a joke, Oregon St and ASU get 500 yards on LSU, SEC teams cant get squat vs LSU. USC scores 70 on Ark, they havent let up 70 since. USC goes into Tempe and punts it first 10 possessions. Northwestern only Big 10 team that is capable of playing catch.

You play opp. different in conference play vs. teams that are occ....Teams in your conference know everyone because they play you every year....THey know when a team shits,etc...In occ they dont know you as well....
