Dante,

when I was younger I was a bellman at the Sheraton here in Ottawa.

One day I got a call from room service, they had tried to pick up a breakfast tray in a certain room, they knocked, opened the door & saw that the customer was in bed sleeping so they quickly closed the door. Later that day at around 2pm they went back to get the room service tray & the CX was still sleeping in the exact same position!!!!

The room service guy called me.. I went up to the room & sure enough after touching the guys neck for a pulse he was cold & stil

Many years ago I had a friend in school who was tricked into going out to the mall with two other boys and was killed by beheading him in some sick devil worshipping crap. How many people expect to go out like that...pretty screwed up if you ask me. Lately, too many men in there 40's and 50's around here and at work are dying from heart attacks. I feel like I'm playing Russian roulette. Any day now my number will come up. Best wishes to all trying to dodge the bullet...that includes our troops over in Iraq.

Dante:

Very sorry to hear of the loss of such a young person. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Unfortunately, at the age of 20 I learned a very hard lesson as my father had a massive stroke at my current age of 56 and lived for 20 years permanently paralyzed and could not speak, read or write but was a convalescent for life. From that early day forward, I constantly shared the thoughts with whoever would listen that "tomorrow is not promised to you" and have lived my life accordingly for the duration of the time I have been granted.

Life is fragile. Appreciate it while you can. Best wishes and good health to all.
