Off topic- ski resorts

I will be in Vail for a week starting Jan 15th. I mostly ski in the southeast and they all suck. The only decent one within 8 hours of me is Snowshoe WV, if there isn't any couch burning going on it is not bad and is the only east/southeast resort that reminds my of out west.
I am planning on skiing 2 or 3 of the resorts in the area on my vacation, when is your trip and I will give an update when I get back?

You like the same type trips I do. Went to Turks and Caicos in June (pricey but great) and Grand Cayman in Oct (pricier and outstanding). Both laid back old money type trips, not your spring break atmospere, great snorkeling and resturants, I do those well. I will have my laptop for a few wagers, if you are going to be there email me and we can take some lessons together, I am a 5 skier.
