Oct 17 CFB MICHIGAN -6½-115 this is my biggest bet of the year so far, last year it was the ohio state over. Simply this is crazy; The game is at the big house and state sucks, flat out sucks for a 6-0 team, they have played 5 home games in a row and only played on the road once Vs WMICH who hung 24 points on them. If State score more then 13 next week i will be shaking my head. I'll have more to say in this later .

A knee injury to Michigan State running back L.J. Scott kept him from starting Saturday night against Rutgers, but it didn't keep him from finishing the game in style. The 6-foot, 233-pound Scott replaced fellow running back Madre London, who left the game in the third quarter with a knee injury. Scott accumulated all of his 42 rushing yards on nine second-half carries. He leads Michigan State in rushing with 418 yards this season.

A: Three key starters are sidelined for certain:

•Ed Davis is a fifth-year senior OLB who was MSU's most productive defensive player in 2014, he suffered a season-ending knee injury in August.

•RJ Williamson is a fifth-year senior safety who started the first five games. He suffered a torn biceps and is out long-term after undergoing surgery on Sunday. Williamson was the most experienced defensive back and was playing like an All-American this season.

•Vayante Copeland is a redshirt freshmen cornerback who won the starting position in fall drills and had early drawn comparisons to former NFL first-round pick Darqueze Dennard. He suffered a season-ending neck injury against Oregon on Sept. 12.

•Junior left tackle Jack Conklin has been projected by many to be a first-round NFL draft pick. He suffered a knee injury against Central Michigan and didn't play against Purdue. His status would be somewhere between "doubtful" and "questionable" for Rutgers.

•Junior right tackle Kodi Kieler suffered a right leg injury against Oregon and has not played since. MSU put him on the depth chart this week, but that has not been any certain indicator in the past. Like Conklin, somewhere between doubtful and questionable.

•Junior tight end Josiah Price is MSU's all-time TD leader at his position, but he didn't play against Purdue after suffering what appeared to be an ankle injury against Central Michigan on Sept. 26. His status would be questionable.

I hope your right. I personally fear a back door cover. I'll try and be as loud as possible. I will say this fits one of my favorite angles. Play on a team that has been dominated recently in a rivalry series when said team is finally superior. Most often, several years of frustration are unleashed. Good luck SMF!

I love that angle as well, and I think it may come into play in this one.

bigike any information you can provide is gold, I was shocked by how bad state was when they played a Purdue team that was riddled with injuries and caught alot of breaks with bad calls, they should have lost that game. Last week State played rutgers and they have has alot of issues and almost won on the road. State has played nothing but home games, I think the revend factor will be huge for Mich in the Big House.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has had ties to Michigan State over the years, including when his brother-in-law Tom Crean was an assistant basketball coach under Tom Izzo. But he and current Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio don’t have a personal connection beyond their few meetings since Harbaugh took the job last December.

Just updating my pro and college picks together (10-5) on the season 66% for the season.

MSU has been decimated by injuries. President season they lost their all big ten LB. Last few weeks they have been without their all big ten LT, starting TE, CB and Safety. Last game they also had another starting lineman in Jack Allen walk off the field twice with injury. I suspect some if not most of the injured come back for thus game. Maybe I'm paranoid but I'm hearing that a couple of the guys were 50/50 last week but the Coaches elected to give them an extra week of rest. Getting these guys back would really help MSU. Michigan lost a starting DL in ojomudia for the year against Marland and because of a targeting penalty we will be without starting LB James Ross for first half. I think Michigan has the potential to control both sides of the ball as the game wears on . MSU despises Uofm and they will play with a lot of heart. My problem with laying the big points is, we are a grind it out team, not a lot of quick score capability. Our kicker is a former walk on and a little shaky. We are not going to score a ton of points but should still be able to move the ball. My fear is Connor Cook and Aaron Burbidge. Cook is a really good qb and Burbidge is a terrific nfl type rec. I just think they can make enough plays to possibly keep it close. To me, the line at 7 is just too inflated. I hope I'm wrong and I could easily see the crowd and the momentum get away from MSU like it did Oregon st, NW, BYU and Unlv. The difference is imo is OSU, BYU and NW all started freshman qb in their first start in the big house. Connor Cook is not going to get as rattled. I hope we destroy them but I think a tight game is more likely.

MWS yes they are from last week .. but my points is what I put in bold; That the were "season ending injuries" and a huge loss in experience and talent. Playing on the road for only the second time this year is going to affect a team that is thin in the trenches. Even if State is able to be emotionaly up or the game, they will be out matched and worn down as the game goes on,

Darian Hicks is questionable heading into the weekend. Hicks joined the starting lineup after two DBs went down with long-term injuries. If Hicks does not play they will bringng in at least one freshman. Mark Meyers will not be playing his court date is forthcoming. Down both starting corners and a safety? Good god I hate this year so effing much. Arjen and Edmonson the only non frosh CBs on the roster.
