Lions need it, Cowboys don't. So obviously I'm gonna play the Cowboys! Lol. Good luck.

My thing is this. If the Cowboys even do rest their starters it's simply swapping out Dak for a Tony Romo which in my opinion is a big upgrade......and I'm a big time Giants fan.

I doubt they rest very many starters on offense, specifically the OL. Maybe Elliot will get less carries and rest their defense should bod well for Detroit.

Haha, even if the Cowboys needed this game, I would like Detroit +7.5 (which I got it at) -- not unlike the tb game. I do get your logic though...

Will make things a lot more interesting next week if Detroit loses. Dallas only punted once last week but only scored 26. They might wanna focus on finishing drives. Over might be a good play.

If they win tonight and win next week they will 99 percent be 6 seed.

If they win both: 60 percent chance they are 3 seed, 40 percent 2 seed.

I didn't realize the Lions had such a crack at a BYE. Sea loss was a huge game changer

I think there is way too much emphasis put on who needs what. Sure it's a small data point unless a team absolutely needs a game and the other team DGAIF. This game simulates a playoff game to both teams. But honestly, both of these teams are going to be giving a lot of effort to beat each other. This is a scenario I see play a out a lot where guys way overemphasize who needs what rather than just capping the game as if the starters were going to play. These head coaches are paid to win. Before every game they are usually telling their team to give the game 100% effort unless it's a unique circumstance. The more wins the head coaches get, the better chance they have of staying around. This is just my best guess at what I think is going on from what I've seen in the NFL. People can feel free to disagree with me.

I'd say cap the game as you otherwise would and don't try and level yourself.
