Boys, I have confirmed that OBL basically offered protection to states that vote against Bush. The media is the enemy within. OBL is losing, he admitted it in the latest tape and he would like Bush off his back to go back to the clinton days.

I also read that article at the NYP as well as the one about Ahnold running for Prez if they change the Constitution. I don't speak Arabic enough to refute the claims but Al-Qaeda likes to stick to traditionally progressive states because they're more densely populated. Why attack Earle, Arkansas and kill a few people when you can attack New York and kill in the thousands?

That may be true. I was just giving my take on the situation given history. If Osama wasted his time on the Wyomings of the world he would lose a lot of his luster. It's cost effective as well as cosmetically better to hit the traditional so-called Democrat strongholds because that's where a lot of the high value targets are i.e. large pop. and financial infrastructure.

Another example of your intellectual dishonesty/bankruptcy, Game. In the first place, the phrase in question is 'US states that do not toy with our security ...' The confusion is leant to a possible misinterpretation of the word 'states.' The immediate reaction was to assume it meant 'nation-state' while your MEMR is saying that it means 'individual states.'

But your initial post gives the impression that the statement that OBL will offer a truce with individual states "who vote against Bush" as though A/ it is at all clear who OBL would favour in this election, B/ the media only showed 5 minutes of the tape to hide this part of the message (rather than oh, say, the CIA keeping it classified), C/ you don't even know how to read since this phrase was broadcast immediately, and D/ OBL has no inkling of the American voter though a cursory review of American patriotism would show that even a mild version of Spain's 3.11 would have the precise opposite effect in the US.

So this revelation that you have 'confirmed' is just as speculative of anything published to date, including the theories of the tinfoil hat brigade.

The Clinton-type days sure were a huge problem for terrorism huh? Wait a sec, no they weren't. Bush overreacted to not being able to carry out his promiss of getting OBL and as a result has made us less safe than before. What a prez.
