The gov was already under investigation so you would think he would of kept a low profile instead of cooking up more schemes while under investigation. on a side note though he did push for all kids health care in illinois. My son had to have over a million dollars in surgerys and he was covered by the state because i was living overseas and didnt have insurance in the states. And the country I live in didnt have the technology to do the surgerys. So im thankful for that.

It would be silly to think that Obama didn't explicitly or implicitly signal who was on his shortlist. That being said, I don't think, and the authorities don't think, he did anything illegal to influence the governor's selection.
