If the middle and lower classes think the upper class is just going to absorb it and not pass it on to them, they have severely misinterpreted how taxes work. They are all lying, including The Big Empty. Obama has always said that if <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><st1lace>America</st1lace></st1:country-region> is in a recession he would keep the Bush tax cuts in place. He has also started saying that the next President is in for a painful recession.

So out of one side of the mouth is "TAX HIKE ON THE RICH" and out of the other is "unless we're in a recession."
