Two of the four Marines killed in a shooting at a U.S. Naval Reserve center in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Thursday have been identified as Thomas J Sullivan, 40 (right), and Skip Wells, 21 (center and inset). Sullivan, from Springfield, Massachusetts, had served two tours of duty in Iraq, survived the battle of Abu Ghraib and was awarded the Purple Heart, his family revealed. Marietta, Georgia native Wells had just graduated from boot camp to join the Marines and a family friend said he felt 'called to serve'. The two men were training at a Naval Reserve center in Chattanooga on Thursday before noon when gunman Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, 24 (left), opened fire after driving up to the facility in a silver convertible. Abdulazeez, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Kuwait, was later shot dead by a police responding to the shooting.
