Remarks by the President at Cairo University, 6-04-09

"Today I'm announcing a new global effort with the Organization of the Islamic Conference to eradicate polio. And we will also expand partnerships with Muslim communities to promote child and maternal health.
All these things must be done in partnership. Americans are ready to join with citizens and governments; community organizations, religious leaders, and businesses in Muslim communities around the world to help our people pursue a better life.

On science and technology, we will launch a new fund to support technological development in Muslim-majority countries, and to help transfer ideas to the marketplace so they can create more jobs. We'll open centers of scientific excellence in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and appoint new science envoys to collaborate on programs that develop new sources of energy, create green jobs, digitize records, clean water, grow new crops."

This one is a beauty. I n the recent GQ magazine Obama said he would have loved to
debate with Don Trump. Here is a guy that barely outclassed Insane John McCain &
a very mannerly Romney in debates beating on his skinny chest proclaiming to anyone
stupid enough to listen that he could have dealt with Trump.

Romney and President Obama had faced off on Russia during a debate in October 2012, when the president famously ridiculed his GOP rival for saying that Russia was the U.S.'s "No. 1 geopolitical foe."

"The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back, because the Cold War’s been over for 20 years," Obama said during that debate.

Joint Chiefs nominee: Russia greatest threat to U.S. July 10, 2015

Russia currently poses the greatest global threat to the United States, according to the man slated to be President Barack Obama's top military adviser.

"Russia presents the greatest threat to our national security," Gen. Joseph Dunford told the Senate Armed Services committee during his confirmation hearing to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

With its large nuclear arsenal, destabilizing role in Ukraine and threat to NATO nations on its borders, Russia presents a significant challenge to the U.S., even as it faces threats like that of ISIS.
