Folks, you couldn't make this stuff up.

Another gem:

"Which 3 people will you take counsel from as President?"

Obama's answer: His wife, his grandmother, and he hemmed and hawed over number three, then said Ted Kennedy and a few other libs out of touch with Heartland America and quickly moved on. So I guess his racist socialist wife will be making the decisions for America, and Grandma will be counseling "from in under the bus." Fantastic! :puke1:

McCain's first answer was Gen. Petraeus. *ding* Round One to McCain. :103631605

Obama is very articulate and intelligent, I'll give him that, but he is a PLATITUDE king with ZERO wisdom. He does NOT answer ANY question directly (or honestly) and is more nuanced and wishy-washy than Prof. Kerry (coincidently, the front runner for Obama's VP). In other words, Obama is every "progressive's" wet dream.

With McCain you get quick, direct, decisive answers. On issue after issue after issue, you know where he stands.

On the question of evil, Obama didn't even mention Al-Qaida or Islamofascism -- NOT ONCE. Oh, but he did make sure to mention that all sorts of "evil exists on the streets of America." :puke1:

If you think a pompous know-nothing college professor should be running the country who has never created a penny of wealth in his life and who's "nuanced" approach in fighting evil will get thousands and thousands and thousands of innocent Americans killed, then I guess Obama is your man.

If you want a president who's a LEADER in the mold of Washington, Lincoln and Ronald Reagan -- one who exemplifies the values of American Exceptionalism -- McCain, is your man.

Jesus, Obama, this isn't Norway. We don't elect presidents "to be nice to people." :ohno:

I'm so sick of hearing about his grandmomma - I also got a kick out of "those making over 250k will see a modest increase in their taxes" - they will be taxes to death - if the capital gains tax goes from 15% to 28% is that a modest increase? - seems to me it's nearly a 100% increase

I think we now realize why BO's people did not want all those town halls. Without the teleprompter BO got his arse kicked.

He is A LIAR. A charming liar, no doubt, but a LIAR nonetheless.

Rev Wright was one of his top "advisers" and spiritual mentors of his life -- read Obama's books, it's all there -- why didn't Obama mention him? :icon_conf

Oh, I forgot...Wright, along with every other piece of garbage who helped Obama along the way, has been thrown under the Obama Political Expedience Express...

Did Barack Obama say he wouldn't have nominated Clarence Thomas to the SC because of his lack of experience?

Savor the irony.

If you want more Ruth Bader Ginsburgs on the SC, Obama is your man.

If you want another Scalia, Thomas, Roberts or Alito, McCain is your only choice.

Elections matter. V-O-T-E!

Joe/Mark proclaims: He is A LIAR. A charming liar, no doubt, but a LIAR nonetheless.

And in earlier posts: I am a Canadian!

in later posts: No wait, I am a US Citizen!

No wait....

From an undecided voter...

http://williamlobdell.com/

A few closing thoughts. Rick Warren did a remarkable job. Very well done. Second, Sen. Barack Obama was good. He was personable, answered the questions thoughtful, and showed humor, intellect and depth. Sen. John McCain was even better. His rich life experience took the forum from mono to stereo, from black-and-white to color. I’m a fence-setter voter, but this forum put me on the McCain side. While Obama may be the guy I’d like to have a drink with, McCain is the guy I’d want to lead me into battle. I’m still keeping an open mind, but for now, McCain’s my man.

:aktion033

Wait till warrior John McCain goes after Obambi directly in a head-to-head. Off prompter, Obambi will stumble and bury himself in front of a national audience.

I can't wait! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

John McCain wasn't my first, second, third or even fourth choice, but he won the primaries fair and square.

Your guy sounded like everyone's crazy uncle who escaped out of the attic and rightfully got his ass handed to him. I guess your dysfunctional coalition of "cellphone voters," blimp watchers, neo-Nazis and troofers just couldn't put him over the top. :missingte

I'm a party guy -- obviously you're just a party pooper. :ohno:

If this clown has to speak at the debates without his teleprompter, he will get smoked!

Most Republicans didn't want McCain- he's what we got.

We now have a choice -

a left of center Republican with a ton of experience and a history of doing what he thinks is right...

or an extreme left wing ideologue with literally NO experience and a long history of friendship with anti-American elitists - a candidate who goes in whatever direction the political tide takes him at that moment.

As the Rolling Stones said: "You can't always get what you want But if you try sometime you find You get what you need"

at least we're honest about our beliefs and McCain's weaknesses.

Most leftists think their shit don't stink

"we are the people we've been waiting for"

"frustrated Americans turn to guns and religion"

"we can't continue to consume too much food and too much energy and expect the world to be ok with that"

"my country has not perfected itself"

"I'm embarrassed by Americans"

In the words of my spiritual advisor; "god damn America, the rooster is coming home to roost".

I can't wait for the commercials that will be coming out simply showing Obama speaking his own words.

Throw in a few of his very own thoughts from the socialists books "HE" authored and baddabing, another right wing hit job takes out the next messiah.

Hey Willie, I think you missed one of Obama's best statements:
"Instead of worrying about whether immigrants can learn English — they'll learn English — you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish."

Yup - this guy is so seeped in his elitist culture that he misses the point "whether immigrants can learn English" that learning english helps to assimilate legal immigrants into out uniquely American society.

English is our native language - why should any of us need to learn a foreign language when there is no need?

BB, that was actually part of the "I'm embarrassed by Americans" speech, but your point is duly noted. :103631605

There will be no more such appearances by Hussein Obambi. With out the teleprompter the guy can't fight his way out of a paper bag. And he wants to be president of the world? Laugh my fucking ass off!
