President Obama has earned the lowest approval rating of his presidency in the ABC/Washington Post political poll. Only 41 percent approve of Obama - the lowest rating since he his previous low of 42 percent in November 2013 during the Obamacare website disaster.
In recent weeks, Obama has boasted over eight million signups for Obamacare and fiercely declared that the debate was over about the unpopular health care program.
The poll shows that only 37 percent approve of how he is handling the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
Only 34 percent approve of Obama’s handling of the situation involving Ukraine and Russia and 42 percent approve of his handling of the economy.

[h=2]"No-bama, no bases, no war," chanted an angry crowd of protesters in Manila Monday, infuriated by a ten-year defense deal in which the United States promised support for the Filipino army in the event of any dispute with the country's neighbors growing violent.[/h]According to NBC News, the crowd paraded through the streets with several figurines that appeared constructed with the full detail of a parade float. The centerpiece of the protest, however, was a large dog with the face of the President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III. The dog pulled a chariot controlled by a figurine of President Barack Obama, which was burned in effigy while floating through the streets.
The activists, many members of the Philippines' left wing political party, also threw rotten tomatoes and eggs at the effigies before they were burned, according to the Philippine Star. Opponents believe, the report continues, that significant US military presence in the country violates provisions of the Filipino Constitution.
The Daily Mail notes that protesters appeared particularly concerned that further influence in their military from the United States would result in that country controlling other aspects of Filipino government, as the Philippines were once under the stewardship of the United States government before becoming sovereign. The two countries signed the new defense pact this week while President Obama visited the Philippines; the President is currently on a tour of Asia that began in Japan and stopped in Malaysia before arriving in Manila. The pact gives the United States greater access to Filipino military bases in exchange for increased support.
Many argue the visit's goal is to reassure neighboring nations that the United States will support them in the event that China becomes increasingly belligerent about numerous territorial disputes. Japan is currently embroiled in a years-long dispute with China over the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea; the Philippines also currently remains in dispute with China over its territory, one which Chinese newspaper Xinhua called a "bitter territorial row" in an editorial this week.
In a public appearance yesterday in Manila, President Obama disputed the belief that he was in Asia to scheme against the growth of China. “Our goal is not to counter China. Our goal is not to contain China. Our goal is to make sure international rules and norms are respected and that includes in the area of international disputes,” the President said, echoed by President Aquino.

In all fairness to the Stuttering Clusterfuck, a lot of presidents have seen their approval ratings sink in their second term since the public gets tired of them...regardless of whether they're D's or R's.

However, what baffles me is how his rating could be above zero at this point. Who the fuck could possibly endorse him today?

The R's have a good shot at putting a real conservative on their ticket for 2016, but if there is ever a group which can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it's them. Too many RINOs still entrenched too deep in the party.

41% approval is insane.

But even if Zero was at 0, the damage has been done.

What difference does it make?

But there are almost 10 million sign ups for Obamacare...about 600,000 of those who didn't have insurance prior, and about 1/3 of that 10million have actually paid.

What's not to love?

Oh, and premiums of private inurances have skyrocketed...around $2500 a year. I think Obama misspoke when he said "SAVE $2500".....he meant to say "INCREASE $2500"

Thanks Barack.

Another measure of voting intentions came when people were asked whether they thought it was more important to have Democrats in charge in Congress to help support Obama’s policies or Republicans in charge to act as a check on the president’s policies. On this, 53 percent of voters say Republicans and 39 percent say Democrats. That is almost identical to the results of the same question when it was asked in September 2010, two months before the GOP landslide.

[h=2]Despite President Barack Obama and Democrat's bold promise that Obamacare would lower the typical American family's health insurance premiums by $2,500, a devastating new Washington Post/ABC News poll finds that just 8% of Americans report lower health care costs because of Obamacare.[/h]Worse for Democrats, 47% of Americans say their health insurance costs have gone up because of the president's signature legislative achievement.
As Breitbart News reported on Sunday, the "Where is my $2,500?" question stands to upend vulnerable Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections. While President Barack Obama's Politifact "Lie of the Year"--"If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan"--directly affected 5,000,000 Americans whose policies were canceled due to Obamacare, Obama's $2,500 promise stands to enrage tens of millions more whose wallets have yet to see the $2,500 in savings Obama promised them.
Nervous Democrats have already blasted Obama for putting them in a weak position heading into the Nov. 4 midterm elections. Last month a Democratic member of Congress told the New York Times Obama is now "poisonous" to Democrats. And top Democratic pollster Celinda Lake said, "I'm worried this could be a disaster."
Democrats have already felt the sting of the "Where's my $2,500?" question. At a Minnesota town hall, one voter asked Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Rep. Tim Walz (D-MN) where his family's $2,500 in savings went.
"I thought the Affordable Care Act would save $2,500 per family. What happened?" asked the constituent.
The Minnesota Democrats stared at one another silently before bursting into laughter.
The latest Kaiser Health Tracking Poll finds that after four years of Obamacare, just 38% support Obama's signature legislative achievement.
The Washington Post/ABC News poll finds President Barack Obama hitting his lowest-ever approval rating of just 41%.
