Obama is now leading in the gallup poll by 2 pts. he was down 5 points a week ago. Remember that the state polls tend to trail the national polls by a few days. So we won't see the effects of the financial crisis for a couple of more days. Wait until next week and you will see Obama with a 5 pt lead in the national polls and regaining his electoral lead.

I also find it funny to see the republicans getting nervous now that their lipstick bounce from 2 weeks ago is now starting to dwindle. People are starting to realize that Palin is a fraud and that McCain is just 4 more years of Bush.

Agreed. I am not a left wing nut. I voted for Bush in 2000 and would have voted for McCain in 2004. But enough is enough. McCain has become what he once loathed. Its unfortunate, but it was the only way for him to get this far.
