The U.S. economy produced $1 trillion less in 2014 than President Barack Obama promised in his February 2010 financial plan.

The missing $1 trillion adds up to $3,053 less for every American man, woman and child.

It highlights the huge gap between Obama’s promise that his progressive, big-government economic policies would jump-start the economy, and the hard reality of America’s complex society and economy.

In 1968 the US National Debt was $347,578,406,425.88.

Today is 18 trillion and counting.

After 1968, the National Debt more than doubled during the 1970s and more than tripled during the 80s. Then there was the Deficit Reduction Act, which limited the growth of the National Debt to only 30% throughout the 90s until 9/11. Then the wars followed by the recession followed by Recovery Act caused a return to the 1980s level increasing debt for most of this century. Though I can't agree Obama is doing things perfectly, the past two years have been very good at slowing down the rate the debt has been growing. If that continues for the rest of this decade, the National Debt could once again be manageable

Americans, except for the patriotic Republicans, don't give a crap about the debt!

The rest of the people will just continue to vote democratic, as long as they are the

recipients of free governmemt liberal stuff. That is just the way it be!

All that "government liberal stuff" isn't free. It has a cost. Therefore anyone who votes for either Republican or Democrat is not doing it because of anything that is free. They are doing it because they are patriotic enough to care

Jobs report should be interesting tomorrow. This is country is burried in debt, and the fed is stuck. The economy even with all the borrowing and printing is rolling over , back into recession. What will be the size of the next bond buying program ??

Obama will go down in history as the worst president , ever , when the reality of what has been done to us economically , becomes obvious even to the kool aide drinkers

you got guts showing back here after your previous predictions missed by a few thousand miles. Might be better for you to wait till 2036 before making anymore future predictions

Some holiday facts to chew on

Non farm payrolls 126k , smallest increase since Dec 2013. Est were for close to 250k
Another 277k people dropped out of the work force . Total Americans not working now a staggering 93.175 million
Labor participation rate now 62.7 , lowest level since 1978
In March, for every 1 person that found a job, 2 people just gave up
All of the job growth went to workers 55 and older . Those under 55 lost jobs
70% of all the job gains were in retail, education, hotel, and restaurant . Translation, low paying and part time jobs

When a person is employed for wages for a minimum of one hour a week, he has a job. So as bad as some of these stats may look, reality is even worse.

This Big Government economy is a fucking joke.

Just When You Thought The Obama Economy Can't Get Any Worse, It's Getting A Lot Worse
Donald Lambro | Apr 03, 2015

In the seventh year of Barack Obama's administration, the economy is still getting failing grades that have been the hallmark of his trouble-filled presidency.

While he continues to go about the country telling voters that his policies are working, this week's dreary economic data tell a far different story.

*snip*

Then there is the so-called Obama recovery where the economy remains sluggish year after year, growth remains perpetually anemic, capital investment is mediocre, and it never fully recovers.

Indeed, when Federal Reserve chair Yellen talked about the economy last week, she still talked about it in terms of the recovery -- as in a work in progress.

Her reluctance to say when the Fed will begin raising interest rates, and take the Obama economy off its life support system, speaks volumes about its weakness.

Instead, she said that "the appropriate time has not yet arrived."

Translation: The Obama economy is still far too anemic to stand on its own two feet without the Fed propping it up.

Meantime, let's face it. This economy isn't going to ever regain its full health and vigor until the voters put someone else in the Oval Office who knows what it takes to get the engine of growth running at full throttle again.
