I don't doubt it. Cinci has a way of turning back into the Bungals and nobody would think otherwise. It's almost expected of them and wouldn't shock me if they did it this weekend.

I've seen a few threads now that are picking Oakland +10 and now you are picking them to win straight up.

It seems like all of these picks are based on situation analysis, which is great, you guys are probably the best at spotting good situations, but this is Oakland.

Like Allen Iverson would say, "We Talkin' Bout Oakland man, Oakland, not a team, not a team, we talkin' bout Oakland man..." hahahhaa

Let me tell you my thoughts on Oakland:
They came out week 1 and put up 20 points on SD... set the tone for a great season, then they went to KC and put up 13 points and won it!! Playoffs seemed inevitable, maybe even a Super Bowl.

1. then it was back to reality, they scored 3 points against Denver.
2. then they scored 6 points at Houston (doubling their last week score)
3. then they scored 7 points at NYG (again improving their last week score, turning those 2 field goals into a touchdown)
4. then they scored 13 against Philly (again improving from the week before, adding 2 more field goals)
5. the next week, they forgot to score against the Jets
6. then they scored 16 points against SD (huge improvement)
7. last week they put up 10 against KC

So if you throw out the two SD games... the highest the Raiders have scored all season is 13 points against Philly and KC.

But you got a feeling........

Good luck my friend (<)<

While I've watched the Bengals turn into the Bungles many times, something tells me differently about this species of cat. Not saying they cover the big number, but they'll 'play to win the game'.

no way

been a fan a long time. Dont miss a game, this team is different because of the defense. The old days i would of said yea but this defense is to tough. They might not cover but they will win.

Betting on Oakland is risky business, big fat freaking pass for me, but I wish everybody well.

gradkowski is worse than russell, palmer and crew know how to win, they are not going to play to opponents level. Palmer played at usc so travel shouldn't effect him.

You're right on everything except the main thing: QB!
Russell is not suited for this league, let alone the Raiders. The guy has cost this team at least, at least 3 games this season already.
The guy should have been benched five weeks ago for fuck sakes.
Get the moody glutten the hell out of there and put him where he belongs: on the bench as a fuckin' greedy spectator.
This week they are making a change and Gradkowski is much better and most importantly more accurate than the black money grabber that'll be sittin'.
That in itself is worth 14 points!

Same here. Raiders burned me a couple times this season. Doubt I'll be on them again, unless a real ripe deal pops up one week.

Betting for the pathetic Raiders is hard to swallow, but...the Bengals may not cover this spread; people who think the Bengals can simply show up and cover the DD against the Raiders are a little foolish. Now that the turnover machine is gone Gradkowski should make some plays. The Raiders will make adjustments offensively now that Russell is benched. While the Bengals are the better team, they have not won on the road by DD, they are traveling to the left coast, and they seem to like winning games in the 4th qtr, i'll take the Raiders and the points.

Do you know about the QB Switch angle in the NFL this season? It has been money for me all season with only a few missteps. Good luck buddy.

not a divisional game either and cincy holds tiebreakers over both pitts and balty, so dont be surprised to see oaktown keep it close, but no play from me

This is the 3rd week in a row somebody has started a thread saying a terrible team and huge underdog was going to cover/win against one of the elite. This first week, I laughed. The second week I said okay maybe. This week...I'm onboard. GL bro.

I like Oakland with the 10 points a lot.. tough situation for Cincy off huge back to back divisional wins, now heading to the west coast.. I think the change to Gradkowski will actually make the Raiders more competitive at this points

Still, I would only play them with the double digit points.. not gonna take them on the m/l.. could see a close game they have a chance to win
