NY Jets vs Tampa

If this were the regular season I would like the Jets at +3. But with the crap they are bringing in at QP after Pennington is through I have to lean on Tampa -2.5 at SIA. I never play the preseason seriously, I like to sit back and evaluate. I like the fact that Shaun King is playing into the 3rd qtr. He is not the best QB ever, but he is decent. Good luck to everyone this year. I am looking forward to my 3rd season as a member of this board.

I am playing the over. WHY?? I think they want to show the fans in JAPAN an exiting game and not a boring defensive battle. Just my thoughts take them or leave them.

Rumor has it Testeverde won't be playing in this one. That leaves two rookies for most of the game at QB for the Jets. King is going to get a lot of work for Tampa. I just pary that Simms has learned a little from Gruden and he doesn't start throwing wild.

I understand it's just your opinion but can you really picture Jon Gruden or Herm Edwards saying something like - Look guys, we're really not interested in winning or losing this one. Just make sure you go out there and put on an offensive display for the fans so they get there moneys worth. I can't.

good point lou, in pre-season you have to stretch and look for any angle to bet these games, last year the redskins whacked the niners 38-7, still laying it on heavy in the 4th.

Ultimately i put in a small bet on the over friday afternoon then out thunk my self and just had that play only. I though the number was so low that it would go under to spite everyone.
