On a 3 game win streak........kiss of death???

First two games Van were heavy Favs.
3rd game StLou were -120 Fav

Now Game 4 Nucks are Fav -150?
Same two teams? What has changed?
I'll play the beaten favorite, now underdog at home.

Granted Vancouver's special teams have played great, but all things usually even out.
I think this is a huge overlay on a Canadian team.
Blues will at least give a full effort to win one. All out.
0-4 Skunk is hard to swallow for a full summer.

Vancouver won't mind winning it at home and they will, just not in St Louis.

This is a value play.

Damn, I was hoping you'd be all over Vancouver. I'm debating what to do here myself. Gonna pick up 4 units if they sweep... have 1 unit risked on that, and have already hedged 1 unit on STL.

This is a tough one...

Unless you have heard otherwise, I'd guess they would rest Sundin at least one more game. Might not be a bad thing, although I question why you don't insert Grabner, as he is the most offensively-dangerous prospect we have.

No, but I meant bring up Grabner rather than insert Hansen. Putting a fourth line winger on the top line makes little sense to me, especially when you already have a very good defensive forward in Kesler on the line. Both Kesler and Demitra were ineffective, while Hansen only played six minutes. I think what people have always argued is that while he may suck, Mats' presence does open up room for his linemates. Without Mats, I think they need an offensive threat up there to keep that line going. This could end up being problematic, should they get by the Blues and Mats' injuries continue to linger.

p.s. No team out of the 16 scares me as a Wings fan more than Vancouver. I said it a long time ago and I still feel that way.

when really we were talking about the line on blues being good value, and the cancucks being over valued for what would be the toughest blues test yet.

and st louis was full value for it taking the nucks to OT and coming back from 2-0 in game 4. even the refs were on their side in OT.
