now that the heat lost the last 3 games by 57 points, what about lebron next year?

Status quo doesnt sound like a smart option and lebron has made good decisions.

Does he recruit melo? Does he leave south beach.

personally I would love for him to return to the cavs but hard for me to envision it with the current owner.

any theories?

I don't think they leave but they need someone new. Bosh and Wade are so useless. He should not recruit Melo. This series showed they need to get some great defensive players.

Wade in my opinion is the most overated player in basketball. He is always hurt or has some kind of nagging injury. They act like he is old but isnt he only a couple years older than Lebron. Why the hell would anyone want Carmelo Anthony unless they are changing the game from 5 on 5 to one on one.

And good job Pacers, that Kawli Leonard trade for George Hill (one of the top 5 worst NBA point guards) looks good about now.

Lebron should leave even though he would be ripped for it. The Heat are in an impossible situation. Wade's $42 million over two years is strangling the organization. Even if he opts out and negotiates a longer deal with less money per year his contract is an Albatross. Bosh's contract also holds the Heat back. They are already paying a luxury tax. James could pick any number of teams with a youthful supporting cast that is ready to turn the corner. I think Miami is hamstrung. The fact is even using a mid-level exception won't help them. Let's say by some miracle the Heat could get back to the finals next season. Most of the other teams in the West are still better than Heat. Miami is still in a weak East Conference but someone will improve next year. Now let's say the Heat miss the finals. Two years from now what can Wade and Bosh offer the team. You could move Bosh but what can you get for him. I guess the Heat fans can't complain. They have three championship banners. There are plenty of teams that would be happy to have one.

Exactly. But he got them 2 championships and 4 trips to the Finals. Hard to do more than that in 4 years. If he wanted to take on a new challenge maybe he and Melo could link up in a new destination with some younger guys. Philly?

He should definitely leave and stay in the East. He could have a team that may be slightly lesser than San Antonio and still win a championship because his road to the finals might be much easier.

I'm still rooting for Cleveland. Irving, a #1 pick, and room to sign one more guy? maybe his ol' buddy melo? One thing about this Heat team was it felt like when they needed a scorer and Lebron wasn't in it, there was no one. Dwade used to be that guy, he isn't anymore. Melo I think still can be.

Wherever he goes I hope he brings Jesus Shuttlesworth with him. I saw he still has some game and I think he is cheap.

(I was thinking today when watching him congratulate the spurs, it looked like he whispered something in Danny Green's ear...maybe he wants him too)

At first i read this as "He should recruit Melo. They need some great defensive players" - I couldn't believe you would say those 2 things LOL - finally my eyes cleared up and saw the "NOT"

Lebron's got 2 years on his contract. He cares too much about his public reputation to leave early. Wade and Bosh aren't going anywhere. Miami really needs a young talent they can groom so that when the big 3 become free agents they have someone who they can use to try and coax Lebron into staying.

Lol he made pippen great. Outside of that he played with role players. Lebron now needs a big 4 to win. Gimme a break.

Big 4?

Can you please name the other 3 if you don't mind?

So Jordan just waived a magic wand and Pipen got good huh.
Nevermind the fact that Pipen finished 2nd for MVP the year after Jordan left to play baseball.

OH and that Rodman guy he sucked to or maybe Jordan waived his magic wand to make him good to.

Jordan left the Bulls and the bulls almost made the NBA finals the next season without him.
If Lebron left Miami they would be lucky to make the playoffs in the weak east next season.

Just like the cavs did going from 1st to worst the next season after he left.

That's idiotic. Lebron took daniel gibson, larry hughes and drew gooden to the finals when he was not legally allowed to have a beer. I don't see anything lebron does not do better than jordan. Jordans killer instinct is better than lebron...that I will say...everything else lebron has the edge.

Apparently then, you don't know how to read a simple statistical chart.

Are you fucking high on crack or something?
