Okay non believers and those with a financial interest in scaring the public away from teasers.

Newton tried to convince the religious zealots, that the world was not flat and the earth was not the center of the universe. Most were non educated, religious zealots, who had a massive financial interest in keeping people ignorant and bound to their lunatic religious beliefs. Back then, folks would pay priests to get themselves a guaranteed seat in Heaven Teaching ignorant people/uneducated people that the earth was but a grain of sand on an infinite beach was dangerous, could get you jailed or worse.

I won't discuss the right wing republican politics of the deep south, which also uses religious lunacy as a tool to keep poor uneducated folks ignorant, and the money flowing. Sean Hannety raked in $100 mil last year, as an example. Selling Trump as a God fearing religious person, LMFAO.

Back to teases. Last night is a wonderful example, I gave you guys UNC and Kent St, you can see the posts. UNC was +4 a loser, teased up to +11 a winner. Kent St was +3, a SU winner, teased up to +10 a super SU winner. I had the over/under teased for reasons I stated, Kent St won, UNC went into another OT, who could have guessed that, LOL.

Yes, teases work wonderfully, but you have to be selective. In the end we are all dead, so nothing really matters. Strive for truth and hopefully it will help keep you from the wolves at the door.

You're posts are very arrogant and ignorant. Teasers can be a good tool and I won't dispute that they should be used in certain cases. However, over the long run a book loves you to play them because generally people use them because they are unsure about their team covering and it gives them a perceived added insurance. You may win with them at a high percentage but most people don't. So your arguments don't hold water unless you are speaking of yourself and only yourself!

only a true fool would call another poster a fool - but the lines are getting tighter and tighter and inFact a few books n offshores are talking less and less of them - so I would disagree strongly with you an your tone an attitude speaks volumes - no sense continuing this conversation but Bol in your action

I'm not a college teaser guy but you had explained to me in the beginning of the season on why you tease.

Curious to know how you come up with what combo of games that you want to tease?

Are they all 2 team 7 pt teasers?

Do you feel there is more value in NFL teasers than college teasers?

Personally, i do a 4 team 13 pt NFL teaser every week for $20 with -140 juice and i enjoy. However i wouldnt touch that in college (i'm also a sucker for a ML parlay)

Teases can absolutely work wonderfully as you showed last night when you ACTUALLY POSTED TEASER PLAYS.

Most of this year you've have been saying things like I'm going to tease Navy to +16.5 (full stop) without actually posting the other part of the teaser and that's what I and many people have a problem with. This does not make you akin to Newton, but rather to the guy you rightfully disparage so, the CIC, a dishonest charlatan.

Teasers don't work....but they do. What I mean is .....those who win with teasers would win ATS. Teasers just make you feel more secure because you add points.

I used to keep records on how 7pt teasers would have done in NFL but quit.

What would be nice is a list of plays of teasers.

Sure Code you can list 10 teams that you are going to tease but that tells us nothing on how you actually do.

And having said that, you aren’t required to post anything.

Heck, even haters can’t fade a teaser.

It would be more beneficial for the RX family if you posted actual plays especially if your intentions are to share winners :103631605

BOL to all this weekend!

Thats up to him.....as you know all I’m trying to do is make this forum a better place....yeah it’s a losing fight in many situations but I will stay positive and do my best to lead the way and promote positivity and do my best to not promote drama between personal issues of various posters:103631605

You are perhaps the most arrogant know it all on the entire forum.

NOBODY said you can't win a teaser. Nice strawman argument you've made.

Its the value of the points you are teasing that determines whether or not the teaser is a good value. Winning a bet doesn't negate the math of teaser profitability. Most people, like yourself, buy teasers as insurance....which is an awful way of playing teasers.

You don't play teasers because you like a game, and since you are getting a 6 point bonus that makes you like it even more.

You simply don't understand how to properly play teasers, which is fine. Most people don't. Whats ironic is that you insult everyone with your rants about politics/etc........trying to come across as smart......when in fact you are promoting one of the stupidest bets on the board. NCAAF teasers.

Its been explained already why they are poor propositions in NCAAF. You have no idea how embarrassing to yourself you are by trying to promote these. The games are too volatile to play teasers, unless you play very specific lines....and totals are the absolute worst bet to tease.

Yes, anyone can hit any bet. That doesn't determine if they are good bets. Math and facts do, and NCAAF teasers are an awful bet. If you truly understand the purpose of teasers, you would understand. But you don't, and spend your time trying to show everyone how smart you are.

Keep a separate thread with specific teaser plays.

"Cookie: Are you suggesting that someone would do a sneaky thing like that ?? Sunshine and Codebreaker are one in the same,.....he must be a desperate soul. It is a known fact that when people reside in their parents cellar apartments (and pay no rent) they commit strange acts. I often wondered how far a "Sunshine or Codebreaker" or whoever he [is] would survive thrashing and slurring certain peoples if they would post such dialogues in a sport forum in the old Soviet Union (circa 1936),....the punishment would be more than being banned.....they can be thankful we still have "freedom of speech" here in America.

I hate to get off the subject of college football in this forum but this guy needs to tone down his rhetoric when he refers to certain groups in our society.

Mack, instead of trying to attack me or waste your time trying to change my posting habits. Puts some picks on the board, add something of value for the 30 mins it takes you to write a silly post about me.

Give us some winners your whining just makes you sound like a pussy. I know you're not a pussy I think.

Put week 13 winners right here in this thread, BTW they better not be the same ones I have posted alreadypuff_>>

Come on use that brain for some good with winners, for your fellow comrades:):)

At the risk of derailing this already train wreck of a thread in order to actually gather some useful info from it, what would you say are more safer sports/leagues to tease? I don't play many teaser but do fall victim to just picking more favorable lines to a game I already like which is clearly a bad method to them. Would like to know what are actually useful strategies for teasers... Thanks

NFL is better than college as the lines are tighter and more scrutinized by the linesmakers. For example, a college team could fold if down 21 and put backups in. Usually NFL teams will play soft Prevent D when up 14+ pts and under a certain time amount in the 4th quarter. From what I've read and learned, a point in the NFL is worth more than a point in college football.

Mack is our RX college football historian. He’s a good man who has forgotten more college football than we’ll ever know.

code, I know you are a good capper. Just nobody likes mixing politics in this forum. We have 2 or 3 other forums for that. This is for college football talk.

I get it, Trump was at the Bama game. He is loved there. The Jabs were funny (for me at least) but let’s love on.

good luck on your picks this week!!

mack, same to you. I actually like your gators this week and I HATE rooting for the gators.

Evenly matched defensive minded teams in the NFL are the only thing close to a positive EV...in regards to teaser bets. Good luck either way, even if you are a douche, I do hope everyone wins when they aren’t opposite of my bets.

Actually by the time Newton came around it was widely accepted the world was round. Newton did put the final nail in the
Aristotelian, geocentric view of the Universe which was the earth as the center of the Universe. He did so by proving gravities properties.
There currently are some string theorists who believe the entire universe is a flat hologramic image on a screen! :scared:

Teasers have a time and place that's for sure. Avoid them for over/unders and you should post the payout to show the actual value obtained.

Nobody is saying teasers are bad. Teasing ncaaf and totals is bad gambling. No point in showing code breaker the math to prove it as he believes he knows all. Laying -130 or more in most Vegas books for a 2 team 7 pt ncaaf teaser is not going to end well for your bankroll. There was another poster, Incubus, who claimed he would make money playing ncaaf teasers a few years back and he stopped posting them midway through season when he was buried.

I wish you luck with your teasers in ncaaf. You are going to need it.

Codebreaker is probably a jambo’s pick subscriber.
