BCN Sports discontinues their audited players escrow program.

The cancellation of the audited players escrow program adds yet another new warning sign to this mismanaged shop.

All this in light of the recently unexcusable cancelling of wagers made against players, changes involving their loyality program and not honoring the loyality as was originally stated, and now this.

Players are recommeded to proceed with extreme caution at this time with BCN.

In other words, they are dipping into the escrow to pay players. This book is getting its ass handed to them.

They need to auction themselves off before football season and get a good price because if they think they can tread water until Sept and get it going after that, they are taking a MAJOR risk.

Nobody would want them...they don't have any players. They only have wise guys and by tracking their ticket numbers from the posters on here, they only get a couple bets a day.

It's time to chalk this up as a bad business decision...pay the players, and go home.

I have also noticed that BCN banner is not flying on MW site for quite a few days now and also they are not one of the books in MW idiotic Insurance plan. This book is going down IMO !

Major has to realize it deep down, that debacle that linemaker pulled on the A's will be the nail in their coffin...and the irony, the A's will probably not even get in the playoffs.

It might of turned out for the best that BCN cancelled the future bets. They might not have been around to pay if you guys had won.

Major S. would drop them in a heartbeat if they had trouble paying the bills. If they are indeed dumping the escrow that is pretty much a scraping the last resources type of move. I would want to be on the first to be paid list before they fail. FROG takes zero pleasure in that inevitable occurence. The only good to come of this entire mess is they are an example of what can happen if a book deals with customers like that. Word of mouth through the forums is strength. Next book will say, remember what happened to BCN? And yes, the A's are still hanging on. I could scalp out a profit now but I will hang on.

Best Wishes...oF:howdy:

Thats not the case Chuck If this shop would have used their head. They could have laid off this play, and in that case this issue wouldn't have been in the forums. And if thats the case they would have had a pretty decent Post Up for football season, instead of everyone running to the cashier. Good ridance

They seem to have a shred of honesty about them, better to cancel a bet that would hurt them, than to stiff, but that's a poor excuse for a book. Still doesn't cover BOS as being A-1,here, IMO.

Not sure, but I would say less than 10 players that frequent ANY of the top 20 sports forums.

That says little about the value of hanging a banner here for a year, even before they hit shit book status, they had no customer base.

Extremely diifficult for a new book to establish itself on a forum like this. Any respected poster would lose all credibility recommending a new book over top shelf books like Pinnacle...WSEX...Olympic to name a few. New books have a high rate of going tits up in short order.
