So there are two sides to this story as there are two sides to most story. The Washington post puts out a mini newspaper that they hand out for free on the bus lines and metro lines.
The front page is Obama giving his commencement speech in South Bend Indiana for the ND commencement speech. There is a picture of Obama smiling, the school president, and lots of studends in their cap/gowns taking pictures. The article is generally positive but mentions 4 people that interupted the speech... Obama seeking "common ground"...
THEN on Page 2 comes the OTHER side of the story.. of course it's on page two, they talk about the hundreds of protesters, the posters with dead babies on them, and the hypocracy of the school. They show some people kneeling and praying. They also post the LOGIC & rationale that is flawed with having Obama give the speech.
Now why is the protest on page 2 and not page 1? I guarantee you if Bush were in office and just 10 people were protesting THAT would be the lead story. The media is so biased it isn't even funny. The first article was a joke, and their "rebuttal articles" are poorly written and there to just say that they aren't completely biased but there are. I think most rationale human beings can see that.
The Wall street journal also pointed out that at ASU Obama said that since he didn't get an honorary diploma, he'd have the IRS aduit the Deans taxes. Now he was 100% joking but that is NOT something the IRS can joke about. If you are an IRS agent ( I lived 2 houses down from one) you can lose your job for threatening to audit somebodies taxes. It's a very serious offense and something Richard Nixon actually used as a weapon against political opponents.
We do have a voluntary tax system and if people feel they are being "targeted" it takes away the legitimacy of it all and Obama made a big boo boo that could have got him fired.
It's another embarassement by this embarassing administration. Maybe he should go back on the late night talk show TV and make fun of the special olympics, or maybe he should go fill out NCAA brackets on ESPN and try and be a celebrity instead of a leader. He's the worst president ever and the biggest thief in human history. We are going to be paying off over 10 trillion dollars worth of debt for a generation.
