I think they have set out to embarass their ass once again. My how far they have fallen.........................Why in the world would Charlie Weis want this job. He has it made, coaching with Bellichick. I think he wanted to take some years off of his life, they are horrible.

Ugghh.

I cant believe they beat my Vols earlier this year, what a slap in the face that is.

This is getting UGLY quick. And now that phantom offensive pass interference call on ND?

I don't understand the media hype about ND's supposed inspiration for this game. No matter how they felt about Willingham, he ain't standing on the sidelines with them, he wasn't at practice for the past month prepping for this game. I think the ND players who voted NOT to play in this game show more about the supoosed inspiration for this team.

sorry u got talked into the domers...but come on...letting their coach go prior to his 5 year contract end-date should have put u on the defensive...he is far to good and classy...just another example of domers in high place's f'ing it up for those who want to do their best...as in the PLAYERS...and COACHES..even Theisman had to BS his way through comments last week...oh well so goes the domer nation...

No hard feelings here. I was stating a fact about the Irish. I just cant believe that a team that voted to not go to a bowl game has the wear with all to not show up and make fools of themselves on a national stage. I thought that they had enough pride within to at least make a statement for one another. Not lay down and lay an egg. Just my thoughts. If you dont want to play dont show up, thats the bottom line. What a disgrace for the Insight Bowl.

I mentioned in my post earlier that a colleague of mine who recruits out west told me that K Baer was going to UW to be with Ty a week ago. It was a done deal when he got the UW job. I figured that since ND shafted the staff, that they would not prepare the players.

ESPN has just reported that Baer and a couple of the other coaches are heading to UW.

I think they'll quit in the second half. Pound Oregon State and the points, because they aren't gonna stop throwing the ball.

2nd Half play of the universe. Pound Oregon St. I dont care if the line is -10. Notre Dame may not score tonight, and Riley will continue to throw the ball. Maybe the easiest money we will ever make.

agreed , it looks TOO easy. I keep thinking the 1st 2 OReSt scores were on short fields but I gthink special teams are kind of an indication of how much effort a team is putting out so there ya go

Well, with that ND score I'm going to look at the line a little closer. They still won't win, but that TD might give them a little momentum in the 2nd half.
