Hi. Phil Steele back with you after another losing week. Before we get to this week's losers,I thought I would give you a chance to learn more about the man and his system that drains your bank account on a weekly basis.

1)What is my preferred method of handicapping?
a.Throwing darts at a BCS map.
b.Picking a team until they win.
c.Pissing in the wind.
d.Nebraska!Nebraska!Nebraska!

2)What is my worst nightmare?
a.The sports monitors fold and no one
documents how Northcoast is the #1 football
service in the country.
b.Nebraska and ASU play each other on a
weekly basis and I can only select one team.
c.Nebraska goes 0-11. That would be at least
10 4* losses.
d.You guys finally figure out what a bullshit
artist I am.

3.What is more unbelievable?
a.I lost my top selection for the sixth
(or is it seventh?I don't know.Who's
counting?)consecutive week.
b.That I did not lose all of last week's games
c.That I am still in business.

Well, I hope you had as much fun as I did with that! Now let's talk football.

4*Nebraska-Red is my favorite color.
4*Notre Dame-Notre Dame has always been the
luckiest team in college football and luck is
what I need because I sure as hell can't pick
a game.
4*Washington-This game starts the latest. At
this point, you won't have any money left to
bet anyway.
3*FSU-Most observers of last week's Miami debacle
would want no part of FSU in this spot, but I am
too far up Bobby Bowden's ass to get out at
this point.
3*Oregon State-Oops!I forgot.Mike Lee is supposed
to tout the other side of Washington.Oh well, might
as well leave it. At least I'll have one winner!

See you next week when I release my college game of
the decade.As you know I have never lost a "game of
the decade" selection.

Where's the evidence of Phil releasing opposite sides of a game? I've followed him for at least 5 years, and I'm broke, but never have I seen or heard opposite sides being released.

For example, he will post a kagillion system or trend picks and go against those picks in his rags or his phones. Whichever gets "hot", either the system or trend plays or his late phone picks, he will mercilessly "tout" either as a headline for his rags, or his phone commerical intros.

Low Tide- I just read your post and I'm still laughing.

Phil Steele does put out as good newletter for information though. There's a lot of useful things in it. It's a good read. I seldom buy it but will read it if someone lets me borrow theirs.
