If you dont own property why should you be allowed to vote?

Of course people who are worse off are going to vote for people who promise to give them handouts and increase taxes for the wealthy.

Unfortunately, people have the right to be ignorant. As a nation, we are responsible for them being complete idiots. But who is going to speak for them? Democrats know this group is the most gullible and through groups like ACORN, make damn sure they get through to every last one of them.

You can be absolutely certain that any US citizen who cannot locate the state they live in on a map is voting for Obama.

Poor argument

There should be no compulsion to own a property, or anything else.
A billionaire might like living in a campervan and still want a vote at election time.

I could accept a trade off where you can't ever get sent off to fight and die for your country, if you choose not to vote in elections.

And if you do vote, you accept and agree that you can be drafted for compulsory national service in times of national need with no deferments. Ever.
Failure to heed any call ups gets you 20 years mandatory.

We need to remove as many chickenshit Republicans from those voter rolls as possible.

What a dumb idea. I know millionaires that rent apartments in manhattan and don't own any property.

I assume you mean own REAL property, and not just property? Very few people own real property, mostly the mortgage companies own all the property.

lets take this one step further so if you own a million dollar home your vote counts the same as a man who owns a 200k home?...shouldn't that vote be worth 5 votes to the other guy?..........i like this game i would get oodles of votes

I prefer a simple test

name two people running for president in 2008?

name one Senator from your state?

name any member of the House of Representatives?

if that's too hard, name the capital city of the nation and of your home state?

I agree I live in the 6th wealthiest county in the country. Williamson County look it up.

I think there should be some mandatory conditions for voting to weed out the wackos.
