Has to be a new rule. My post below mentions game where players were forced back on field, ~5 min later

So if they scored a TD and the score was 21-20 (for example) and no time left they wouldn't be allowed to kick the PAT to tie? Kind of crazy.

I checked........rule change 2018

Apr 10, 2018

The rule says it applies to "winning" touchdowns. I think the refs got it wrong.

The rule was made for teams that win and storm the field or run off to the locker room but as it is written should not apply to teams that are down. Oh well, Bears probably opted out? Nagy and Trubisky are both gone in the off-season.

this rule was changed in 2018, only applies if the extra point does not change the outcome of the game, if it does not, then no attempt

Funny because that game in 2018 the Vikings were -5.5 and won by only 5 after not kicking the XP.

9. By Competition Committee; Eliminates the requirement that a team who scores a winning touchdown at the end of regulation of a game to kick the extra point or go for two-point conversion. WE LITERALLY ALL GOT FUCKED MYGOD
