You guys aren't thinking logically and you're letting emotions come into play.
The Saints were up by 5 touchdowns, professionalism kicks in and you stop adding on to the score (unless your Bill Bilichek aka asshole).
In the NCAA, you are almost encouraged by the BCS system to add on as many points as you can and that's why teams like OU and such run up the scores.
