Tried an ipod at babykgb.com

Declined.

Neteller is a bunch of thieves and hopefully will rot in prison. There is nothing preventing them from letting you use your money to buy an ipod.

I have been saying that about neteller for the last 2 months but some posters here are stupid and blame what neteller is doing on the US government!

Just curious, when's the last time someone tried to make a non-gambling purchase that did work?

Gambling911 reports:

Gambing911 said:
One non-gaming related website began accepting NETeller this week - BabyKGB.com Affected customers were hopeful they could use their NETeller funds to purchase non-gaming related items online then potentially sell these items on eBay or elsewhere to redeem cash.

Another site is online coffee store donveitia.com

Alas, those who have tried to make purchases don't seem to be having much luck.

A quote from the NetellerCustomerCoalition board:

Neteller is blocking all US transaction. They are not differentiating
between gaming and non-gaming. This is contrary to their press release
which stated that US residents can not transfer funds to gaming
accounts but can make purchases at non-gaming accounts. They are
simply blocking all US transactions. This was not mentioned to
non-gaming merchants prior to signing them up.

This is what you get trying to make a purchase at a non-gambling merchant (e.g. BabyKGB)

Checkout : Your Neteller Purchase Was Declined!

Your purchase was declined by Neteller, and has NOT been charged to
your Neteller account.

You have requested an amount that is below USD $10 or is above the
merchants transfer limit. Please contact the merchants customer service
for more information.

Now I classify them as thieves. For a long time, I blamed the government, but now, blocking non gaming merchants is BS. The founders and board of neteller should all go to jail and I sincerely hope they do.

Not looking good. Neteller is just as happy taking our $$ and blaming it on our Government.

They are thieves. Jail time isn't punishment enough for what they have done.

I have confirmation this applies to all non-gambling merchants, not just the one questioned. This option is obsolete.

Jesus Christ, obviously they aren't going to allow anything at all from the US. And how many non-gaming merchants do you think there are even? This was a blatant attempt to get money out. Just like the P2P scheme with non-US citizens.

Face facts, anyone with money stuck in Neteller is going to have to wait it out. Personally I have no clue why anyone would have money stuck there. I have tons stuck at sportsbooks, pokersites, casinos whatever but the second those arrests were made public I dumped everything into different sites. Anyone with a clue coulda guessed that EFT's wouldn't make it through. Sorry, it sucks and I feel bad but this is hardly newsworthy.

fellas, if you have large sums in your neteller then I would suggest getting your account transfered in another country like Canada. Change of address and everything. Request a debit card (assuming you are certified) and withdraw painfully by debit card. Cost you some time and effort but if you have over 10k it might be worth it.

Good luck and your government still sucks ass.

Hmmmm......

Van Wilson, where are you? Any comment?

How was Van Wilson supposedly going to help you WVU?

He mentioned that he could help people transfer money to a non-gaming merchant.

Some people have tried but have failed transferring money to non-gaming merchants that's if they were lucky to find one.

Funny part is.. Neteller wants us to believe the US government has the $$. If that was the case why would they allow anyone to send $$ to a non-gambling merchant? Neteller don't have your $$ remember!

Lies bunch of lies. The US Governement has its hand in some of it. But Neteller has the $$.
