Seems weird to not have anymore Monday Night Football for several months..

At least the pain is eased tonight, by a great college football game being on, but come next week, its gonna hurt...

Man the NFL season sure goes by fast......

Seems like only yesterday we were kicking off the season, and now its already playoff time....

Sure hate to see it go......

I'm surprised we don't have a lot of hillbilly wrestling fans on this site who would rather watch oily men spew out obsurd cliches and smash each other with chairs.

Personally i think MNF has run its course, its not the special thing it used to be in the past, the matchups suck more often then not too.

This year was especially bad for some reason. The NFL does their best to get good matchups by scheduling certain teams to play certain other teams but this year there were a lot of disapointments which made for a bad MNF year.

Actually just get rid of it already. The NFL needs 1 more afternoon game on Sundays. Too many early games... Not enough lates.

thats where this idea for the flex scheduling should help. hopefully the last 6 or so weeks they will have their choice of the best games.

i probably only watched from start to finish about 4 of their games this year.

would you rather be watching Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets or some crappy game like that instead of V Tech vs Auburn?

Of course not Slim..

thats why i said, its easier tonight, cuz there is a great game on, but next week there wont be....

But I do agree with some of the others, this year, seemed to have more crappy matchups than usual...

A big hurt was teams like KC, Tenn, and Dallas, who the NFL expected to be better than they were....I think each of those were on 2 times

It's always depressing on opening day because we are that much closer to the final day. If we still had the XFL, then it would be ok.
