The Belmont Bruins might be the best kept secret in college basketball. They beat Mountain West champ Air Force at home, upset Missouri on the road and already beat Austin Peay in late November.

Belmont also only lost by six at Memphis and by two points to regular season Atlantic-Sun champ Troy State. Four of their eight losses were by just two points.

The money is on Austin Peay with the game opening 4 1/2 and moving to six. Belmont won't leave anything on the court tonight in a rare chance to gain recognition and could win this one SU. Taking the Bruins +6

The line actually opened at 5, and is now at 5.5. Not sure where you are getting 6, as even the squarest book on God's Green earth (SIA), has it at 5.5. Although, it will probably continue to move, maybe to as high as 7, at SIA, I feel.

Gee there most be a lot of square joints out there. I can take six at 12 different books on the Don Best screen.

If you are in Vegas, you can even take + 7 @ The Mirage.

If not, there are plenty of offshore books that have posted + 6.5 and from there you can buy up to + 7 ...

I wouldn't call a book listed on the DBS screen a "square" book, since most of the books move on air based upon the DBS screen.

I think this line moves to AT LEAST 7 and possibly higher than that before it goes off.

jcambert,

I agree with you regarding the Belmont + 7 line before game time. I'm waiting and then I am going to take the points.
