The GOY stuff is starting to sound like combo meal thru the drive thru. quick and easy.

rutgers falls into place of a undefeated system for the tourney's.

should be easy money.

i really hate to bet against michigan here, but i see all kinds of trouble defending shields, and douby-lieve.

GOY ytd 4-1. i still have one for Sat. which probably will conclude the year. hope i finish with double wins.

loving the over, loving the over, oh did i say i love the over.

if either team plays zone, way over. if either team plays man to man, way to many matchup problems across the board for both teams.

but usually when i like a total this much, i'm way off. still like it though.

been following the wagerline alittle, and it does have it value. i think much more in pro, and totals.

michigan side
over very sided.

seems like the voters do much better on the totals, than they do the sides. as mentioned above.

HOPE EVERYONE SPENT TIME LOOKING AT THIS THEMSELVES.

i know a lot of players don't handicapp the way i do, and i already have my plays for sat., and they will not change...but if michigan destroys rutgers for some reason, what does this tell us about the big east.

though i have already said this here several times MICHIGAN is playing as good as anyone in the country right now, so a GOY of the year tag on this play RUTGERS could be suicide.

bet with ease and care.

one other note on this game tonight: michigan has trouble with good guard play, Ill just one example, RUTGERS has two outstanding guards. plus this is like a home game for the rutgers team.

best of luck, and either way SAT is going to be big, big, big day. the way almost 80% seem to be going has confirmed my play that much more.

Way to go "swamy" on the other night what happen to my cyclones, even though the out come it was a pretty good game. I'm all over rutgers and the over, let's hope douby is hot with his 3 pointers like the other night. Good luck and congrats on a great run.

You guys are going to kill me, SOME WINDSOCKING HERE,

BUT I'M THINKING ABOUT TAKING THE UNDER.

WHY:

1.EVERYONE LOVES THE OVER, HERE, WAGERLINE, ALL MY FRIENDS, INCLUDING ME. WHICH IS BAD WHEN I LIKE SOMETHING SO MUCH.

2. MICHIGANS DEFENSE IS PREETY GOOD, AND RUTGERS WITH THEIR STYLE DEFENSE SHOULD CAUSE SOME PROBLEMS. BOTH TEAMS RUN AN OFFENSE WITH PICKS AND CUTS, TRYING TO GET THREE POINT SHOOTERS OPEN, SO THEY RUNN SOME CLOCK. BOTH TEAMS WOULD HAVE TO SHOOT GOOD TO GET THIS NUMBER.

3. IF YOU LOOK BACK AT MICHIGAN GAMES AND GO BY THE NUMBER 136, THEY WOULD OF ONLY HIT THE OVER A FEW TIMES IN THE LAST 10 OR 13. EVEN THE OREGON GAME DIDN'T GO OVER THE TOTAL, AND THEY RUN AND GUN AS MUCH AS ANYBODY. THE MISSOURI GAME UNDER THIS TOTAL.

I'm putting a small wager, less than 1/6 of the rutgers play for fun and pride. and i still don't know which way i'm going.

i see a final of 68-65 michigan. under.

Question for you on GOYs, based on respect for hitting your first 4/5. OK, now a win is a win is a win. It's understood that bottom line is all that matters. But a GOY on Rutgers getting 5.5 when you predict they'll lose by 3? That just seems like a REAL fine margin for error on such a big play. How do you come up with the designation?

The only sport I'll post for regularly is NFL, and over the last 2 years, if I had been posting, I'd only have tagged GOY on 2 games--Pats over the Bills last regular season game this year (Pats won 31-0) and the year before, Jets over the Colts in the playoffs (Jets 41-0). Now, of course it's not going to be that easy all the time, but the point is, going into those games I'd have predicted blowouts. It seems like GOY here would mean you see a Rutgers win, really, or a last second loss (1-2 points).

Like I said, if it wins, who cares (well, except for my heart/ulcers). Just wondering how you pick 'em.

if you would of followed all my GOY so far you would be in critical care unit about now.

if you have noticed they are all dogs, except for the nd game(which i lost) but that was a diff category all together, diff system, totally diff.

though they are all dogs, yet have i watched a game and not been disappointed in my selection. it seems as though i always have the better team.
i don't think i have the better team in rutgers, but i think both guards for rutgers would start for michigan, they should dominate this game. that is why i feel it will be close and cover, it is hard for me to pick rutgers to win straight up for i am a huge michigan fan.

i would like to have the best of both worlds tonight.

seems like a fine line, and these have not been blow outs at all, and wouldn't expect them to be or blow smoke up your dress saying it would be.

that is b.s. for anyone to say that, though there are a few here that try to do that.

i loved michigan the other night, but i'm such a homer that to say they would win by 20 before the game would be dishonest to anyone who reads this thread. though after the game started or my post time with a local i did say they would win by dd's, and even mentioned by 25. which they did.

take my fiction for what it is worth, not much.

power ratings from diff companys, end of year and beginning, rpi's, sagarin, you name it, i use it.

i take all thoise numbers get an average i guess you would call it, then take the line inaccount and go from there.

It sort of does, but I'd think that a GOY would come out much stronger after you crunched the numbers. You know--"based on all my calculations, Rutgers should win by 20" kind of thing....then you take other stuff into account, figure that won't happen, but end up w/a real strong play anyway. But I gotcha, I think.

I HAD VANDY AS MY FIRST AND I SAID THEY WOULD WIN BY 17, THEY WON BY 13 OR SOMETHING.

THEN I HAD ND AND SAID THEY WOULD WIN BY 23, EVERYONE LAUGHED AND I WAS THE JOKE OF THE FORUM, UNTIL THEY WON BY 13 I THINK, AND COVERED THE 6.

THEN I HAD RUTGERS AND I SAID THEY WOULD WIN BY 12, THEY WON BY 12.

THEN I HAD RUTGERS LAST GAME AGAINST IOWA ST, AND I DIDN'T GIVE A PREDICTION BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS NEC. BUT MY LINE WAS RUTGERS BY 2. WELL THEY WON BY 3. BUT THEY WERE GETTING POINTS.

TONIGHT I HAVE RUTGERS BY 3, AND THEY ARE GETTING 5, A DIFF OF 8 POINTS. PLUS I LIKE THE FACT THEY ARE PLAYING SO CLOSE TO HOME. SHOULD BE LOUD AND HAVE AN ADVANTAGE.

MY SYSTEM COMES UP WITH THE TEAM THAT SHOULD BE FAVORED, THAT IS IT. SO WHEN THEY ARE A DOG I JUST LOVE IT.

BASKETBALL IS TOTALLY DIFF THAN FOOTBALL, IF SOMEONE GIVES me a goy in football i expect to win by 2 touchdowns, otherwise don't bother.

but basketball is completely diff, man i will take a one point win any day.

such a fine line between the way the refs call a game, to free throws, to foul trouble, ect.

that rutgers game against iowa st should of wnt under, the refs called a foul every trip down the floor, if they would of let them play alittle, that game stays way under the total.
