This wasn't really a meltdown, FSU is a very consistent team, Wake is not. While I think Wake is a much more talented team Florida State probably learned it's lesson in the first half against North Carolina.

FLORIDA ST HAS NEVER IN THEIR HISTORY EVER WON BACK TO BACK GAMES AGAINST RANKED TEAMS. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THEY EVER ACCOMPLISHED THIS. CANNOT HELP IN THIS ONE, THE KEY GUARDS FOR FLORIDA ST HURT AND ALL WAS IN THE ZONE EARLY, THEN GOT COLD, AND THEN GOT RIGHT BACK IN THE ZONE LATE IN THE GAME HITTING THE 3POINTERS, JUST LIKE NC GAME. DAM , UNREAL. NEXT GAME THEY PLAY, THINK YOU HAVE TO GO AGAINST THEM. JUST SAW THEIR NEXT OPPONENT, IT IS AT DUKE. THE BLUE DEVILS WILL END THIER RUN. I HOPE THE BOOKS OVER VALUE FL ST IN THAT GAME. GOTTA GO WITH THE DUKIES AT HOME.

Wasn't as bad as the UNC disaster, but it was bad. Wake only scored 3 points in the final 5 minutes!!!

Cappthespread are you kidding me or what. You actually have people believe and pay for your information. Incredible. Florida St playing VERY consistant ball. In what way.

Fl St in their last 5 games are 1-4 SU and ATS
Since 12-18-04 their record goes something like this Win 2 , Lose 1, Win 2, Lose 4, Win 2.
Wake Forrest since 12-16-04, has Won 7, lost 4.

Plus, in Fl ST last 5 games, they have been avg 66 ppg , approx 8 pts lower than their season avg. Purdue even though losing 4 games in a row, look who they lost to. Still, they scored only 2pts fewer from their season avg in the conf games they have played.

Where are you getting this info. that Florida St is playing VERY consistant ball. Please enlighten me, cause I need to know where I fvcked up in my analysis.

cappthespread - where do you come up with these comments? co-captains right on as his stats seem to counter your argument. and by the way - leonard hamilton has lured some great talent to tally. wake is one of those teams that's getting by based on reputation. soon, we will see that they're not one of the elite teams. more will follow...
