Thanks for nothing, ********. Cincinnati backers had the right side, Xavier backers got lucky. That's the breaks, but it still sucks. Too much dunking practice, not enough FT shooting practice. An 83% FT shooters goes 2-5 down the stretch. Hope that tooth fairy money to miss those was worth it, jackass.

That was complete BS, besides bricking the FT's. Why are both teams running up and down the court, X fouling with a minute left and down double digits, but then when they cut it to 11, suddenly NO FOULS - Cincy just STANDS there with the ball for 40 seconds .

I want someone to say the linesmakers are so good they put this line at 13 and that the players and coaches had no idea what the number was. yea right

Xavier strategy?

down 18, 5 min left, keep playing we can still come back
down 15, 2 minutes left, keep playing and fouling, we can still come back
down 14 2 minutes left, keep playing and fouling we can still come back
down 12, 1 minute left STOP PLAYING WE HAVE NO CHANCE

I guess if Cincy had hit 2 more free throws, they would have kept playing?

I feel very fortunate to have one of those go my way. I love DePaul Saturday in a rematch vs Cinci.

I had Xavier plus the points in a parlay, and it was the last leg of a 3-teamer. It sure did seem like everyone involved knew what the line was. They did play hard and foul to try to get under the number, and once it got under, they stopped fouling. And those free throws were complete bricks. I'll take that lucky break, but I'm not so sure it ever had a chance to lose. We will never know.

not really. you just need to know what you're getting into when you back "Hug's Thugs." that is, terrible PG play, bad shot selection, undisciplined defense, poor FT shooting, etc. no one will ever question Bearcats' athletic ability but all of the above is really what you BUY when you buy UC.

luckily I had the under 70 2nd half.
With 5 minutes left I thought for sure I had lost. But I guess I finally got lucky.
I am from Cincy, love UC basketball, but they suck.
