Poland's right wing interior minister Mariusz Blaszczak has blamed last night's terror attack in Nice on 'multiculturalism' after it emerged the killer was a French Tunisian living in the city.
Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, 31, killed 84 people as he drove his large lorry along the main promenade in Nice indiscriminately knocking down pedestrians who had just finished watching the city's Bastille Day fireworks.
Unlike other international politicians, Blaszczak blamed France and the European Union's Foreign affairs commissioner Federica Mogherini for last night's deadly attack.

He said: 'We must reject political correctness and call things by their true names. Rather than shedding tears like Mogherini and ... organising marches that solve nothing, authorities should ensure the safety of citizens.'
In an interview on Polsat News, he said the attack in Nice is the consequence of many years of 'multi-cultural policies and political correctness. This is how it ends.'

He added: 'We don't have such problems. We don't have districts where law other than Polish law reigns. We don't have no-go zones for police.'
He also praised his party, Law and Justice, for standing firm against accepting migrants.
Blaszczak is seeking to introduce tough new surveillance laws to deal with terrorism.
Warsaw wants the ability to keep those suspected of terrorism links under close surveillance.
The law also allows for monitoring of suspects' phone calls, mail and internet activity, especially in the case of foreigners.
It allows authorities to remove suspicious content from the internet, ban public gatherings and use sharpshooters in emergencies.
It also coordinates the task of various intelligence and security forces.

Surprisingly the Eastern Block in the EU seem to be the most
clear thinkers.
1) Hungary- built a wall to prevent Muslim Invasion
2) Slovakia- Will not taje Muslims saying we have no Mosques here so they wouldn't be happy in our land
3) Czech Republic & Poland similar thoght processes

How do we undo "decades of multiculturalism and political correctness?"

While scrolling this thread I was thinking of posting exactly this when I got to the end. But I was expecting you to be the one to answer. And then you instead posted the question first.

Here's another question. All this beefed up security in America now. We know it costs a fortune. Who is paying for it? And who is profiting? Does the money return to our economy?

France Struck Islamic State Bases Overnight (Reuters)
France's defense minister said on Monday that French air forces conducted further strikes overnight on Islamic State targets.
Speaking after a national defense council meeting in the wake of last week's truck attack on the city of Nice, Jean-Yves Le Drian told reporters the fight against Islamist militants' bases was continuing.

Israel's Counterterrorism Lessons for Europe - Ron Prosor (Wall Street Journal)

  • As the terrorist threat evolves, so, too, must our response. In Nice, the use of a truck as the murder weapon shows how terrorism is constantly developing new ways to inflict mass casualties.
  • Israel has bitter experience of this. The method of attack is painfully familiar. Since October, 44 terrorist attacks have used motor vehicles as a weapon against Israelis.
  • In recent months, a new generation of terrorists radicalized on social media has launched more than 300 attacks in Israel using knives, guns and vehicles. Palestinian social media, and sometimes even official media, have published a flood of material glorifying the knife and the car as a weapon. The same is true of the jihadist groups murdering civilians in France and elsewhere around the world.
  • In this digital age, terror cannot be met with an analog response. We need to keep up, and Israel has experience and expertise to share.
  • Critics complain that such defensive actions compromise civil liberties and feed an atmosphere of fear. Yet the threat cannot be wished away, not when the ultimate civil liberty-the right to life without fear of death-is under attack. Preserving these freedoms and civil liberties while responding to terror is a challenge for any country, especially a democracy.
  • In an age when the internet has turned yesterday's disturbed loner into today's radicalized sleeper cell, social-media companies must also take responsibility and play a role.
  • Muslim, Christian and Jew must be engaged in the defeat of terrorism. Cooperation already takes place under the radar between Israel, Western countries and Arab states. In a fight that is as much a war of propaganda as it is of weapons, the open involvement of Arab and Muslim countries would send a powerful and timely message.
