Favorite play on the board today. I doubt Toronto scores more than 1 or 2, so Detroit will have to get 4 or 5 goals for this to go over. I'm thinking a 3-1 win for Detroit.

Thanks. I'm more excited that the Leafs actually beat Detroit on the road to start the season. I already know a few buddies of mine that are getting carried away calling for a playoff berth this year. That's a bit unrealistic, but at least that game showed hope for the Leafs this year.

Doesn't hurt that I have the over 77.5 points bet on them either.

I ended up around 80 units last year in hockey. None of it would be posted obviously because I wasn't here last year so I don't know how credible that record would be.

Calgary really needs to start playing better defense. This is a team that has made their living on defense in recent years. Would hate to come away with only a 3-2 day after having Wash score two in the final 5 mins to kill the under and having Cal with a 2 goal lead.

The Canucks are impressing me early on in the year though. I don't think they can keep up the scoring, but it has to be encouraging for the both the team and the fans that this team can score if need be.
