I lean the Rangers, but I like this one better. If you want to parlay the Rangers and Avalanche to get a plus money price, I have heard worse ideas. GL

Bruins ML (+155), 1*
Flames ML (+185), 1*
Kings ML (+170), 1*

Riding the dogs tonight. I think the Bruins are going to be a boring team to watch due to their limited offensive talent. They are going to rely on neutral zone traps, good defense and good goaltending. I do think Swayman will bounce back this season now that the contract turmoil is behind him. The Bruins get Hampus Lindholm back who missed much of last season. They just don’t have much offensive talent behind Pastrnak. They are going to try and win 3-2 and be effective on the power play. I think there is a path there to a 80-86 point season and I’ll bet them today.

I’m fading the Oilers tonight. I could see them starting slow this year after going to back to back finals. That’s why I bet them to win the Cup, but didn’t go over their win total. I could see a slow start and then a big second half of the season that carries into the playoffs. And I’m not a big Stuart Skinner guy. Lastly with the Kings, I just think the moneyline is too high. They played last night, but they aren’t going to be fatigued one game into the season. They will want to bounce back after Colorado beat them in their home opener. I’m willing to ride the dogs tonight except for Montreal. GL

Great night. Profited 5 units across those three winners. When the Flames and Kings both went to a shootout, I was hoping for a split. They both got there and we aren’t complaining. Everyone who hasn’t played a game yet plays tomorrow, so we have a pretty good sized slate. Let’s keep it rolling.

There’s not much I really liked tonight. Thought I might have more action with the number of games today. No reason to force anything on night three of the regular season. GL

Nice win. Dallas never trailed which is always comforting for a gambler. The chance for the undefeated season is still alive lol.

This might be it for today. It’s tough to really dive into the NHL like I want on a Saturday or Sunday. Little revenge game for the Rangers after getting shutout at home Tuesday night by these Penguins. GL

Penguins/Ducks under 6.5 (-120), 1*

Utah was a mammoth disappointment last night. Only allowed 13 shots on goal and lost the game. It feels like that’s hard to do, but maybe not. Either way, we got the first loss out of the way. I don’t have the pressure of the undefeated season any longer. I would try to get 6.5 here. There are multiple prominent sportsbooks that have 6.5’s available. GL

This is a stinky one. Flames are playing their backup goalie. I bet on Calgary once this year in their opener and they upset Edmonton. They clearly need me to get win number two. GL
