If this score holds up as it currently is (2-0) and the Wings prevail, any chance you go bigger on the Flames in the late game, with the thought you should at least obtain a split?

Well those +1.5 pl players went 2-0 and I went 1-1...Still squeeked out a small profit...

Monday 1-1 +.40 units

Playoffs 16-12 +12.49 units

OK, Tuesday's plays:

Canes -115 ( 2 )
Canes U 6 -118 ( 2 )

Since goalie change by Canes and Koivu injury by Canadiens these teams have switched places... Seeing it continue tonight. Can they really score 6 goals? I don't think so, especially Montreal's offense has gone since Koivu injury...

Buffalo/Philly this has been a home series with all games being won by the home team but tonight I think Buffalo has learned what they need to do to win in Philly from the first 2 games there. Philly was not stellar at home this year and Buffalo was very good on the road... If I decide to play this game Buffalo is the only side for me...

Record Updated:

Tuesday 2-0 +5.5 units

Record 18-12 +17.99 units sides/totals

Series 0-2 -2.0 units

Did play Buffalo late and not at computer for 1.5 units

Will decide if I want to hedge my Calgary series bet by taking Anaheim +$$$
I think the line will go up to around -180...Under 5 may be a possible play also...

Tell me if this makes sense to you...N.J. favorite in the series -180 or so...

Game 1 is a pick'em... That tells you the series price is set for the public and those same people will see the game 1 line and will think:

"Wow the books are stupid N.J. is a pick, I will hammer that line."

I have bet Buffalo and Carolina for the series already on value...N.J. is good but not as good as the line is made out to be... They are over valued from playing the Rangers... I will probably bet Buffalo both games in Ottawa...

Still don't know if I will hedge with the Ducks tonight...

I have taken the under 5 -120......

At home NJ would be a large favorite for game 1, like maybe -180,
but since it will be played in Carolina the line opened at a pick.

X I know that you are missing my point here...

NJ a big favorite for the series without home ice....

Game 1 is a pick. How is NJ going to win the series if they don't have home ice?

They will have to win at Carolina. But the books are telling us that they don't think NJ can win in Carolina today. If NJ is a -180 favorite for the series without home ice they would have to be a favorite at Carolina of say around -120/-130

Being a pick is telling me they don't think NJ can win there, at least today.
This was a great off line and most people bit at it with NJ...The books knew everybody would love NJ at a pick and the public took the bait...

I am interested to see what the game 2 line will be... By the series price NJ would have to be the favorite of -120/-130 if they are not and Carolina is favored then that tells me NJ is in trouble, Which is what I think anyway...

I see Carolina as being the deeper, bigger, faster, more skilled overall team...
Brodeur is the only advantage I see on NJ's side. Carolina will give ward the chance to win these games...
