Some thoughts first...I won't even get into totals as it is a joke, just play all the overs and be done with it, no handicapping or guessing needed here with Bettman having the refs calling things that are not even penalties...
Anyone find it strange that Carolina the higher seed who just lost 2 games at home comes into Montreal at even. I give them a shot here as long as they play Ward and not Gerber. Montreal is a better team at home but games here are usually lower scoring. I think Carolina can win tonight but only getting even money back is not to great...They will not be getting my money...Forgot Carolina's coach said he has confidence in both goalies as his nose just grew 23' and Gerber took a puck to the neck in practice Tuesday. You don't think that the players were making sure who the starting goalie was tonight....
Philly at home and a favorite of -130 after being totally throttled in 2 games in Buffalo. I know the first game was 2 o.t. but the score did not tell the tale. Unless the refs decide to lose their whistles tonight and not call any penalties or maybe some of the Philly fans can skate better than the Philly players and will suit up tonight. I would not take Philly if they game them to me for free. There is nothing Hitch can do to make the difference in the skating up. SO I will be more than happy to take the better team at + $$$..
If the Sabres lose so be it I will still say Philly stinks and will be on Buffalo in game 4, game 5, etc...
Rangers, uummm. What can you say about the Rangers? How about great skill and no heart... Even if Jagr took a miracle potion and came back to play 100% it still will not matter. This is like a bleeding corpse in the water and the sharks are all nipping at it. Devils in game 3, game 4, etc....
Dallas another team that has cement skates and a shit goalie. Yes Dallas is the higher seed but a funny thing happened they were exposed by Colorado for being a little slow of foot and having a crap over rated goalie. Dallas is getting +115 tonight is that enough value to bet them? Me thinks not I will bet Colorado game 3, game 4, etc until the series is over...
