Series Plays:

Flames -178 (3) Alot of chalk, don't see ducks with a chance here...
Nashville +155 (1) Just think this is a stupid line...
Montreal +196 (1) Not sold on Carolina...

Really want to play on the Avs for the series, not sold on Turco in the playoffs but Avs tending is ??? itself...

Think Oilers can compete with Detroit but to win the series is tough... Not sold on how powerful Detroit is anyone could put up what they did playing the teams in their division. Edmonton matches up pretty good here...

Fri Games:

Flames U 5 -15 (1)
Flames -164 (2)
Oilers +241 (.5)
Predators -101 (1)

Want to take a look and see approach with totals... Will every little ticky tack penalty be called or will we see all the infractions in recent playoffs...

I don't know... Have a feeling that some of the dogs may not be as good a play as years past...

Before teams could hide their weaknesses much better because games were not being called as strictly... This is just a feeling or hunch must wait and see how this plays out...

Usually in years past I would have been all over dogs for series and game in the first round... Now, this year it does not seem to be as good a play as years past... Maybe it is just how I have looked at things this year...

See how it plays out.... Looking at Saturday's card....

Sat Games:

Flyers +139 (1)

Stars _ 171 (.5)

Series nothing really stands out to me... Obviously I like the Devils but Rangers are not bums... Took Montreal for series, I know Carolina has owned them...

Decided that the Avs are not as good as I thought esp. on the road but the tending who knows what will happen... WIll wait and see...

I am going to kick myself... I second guessed myself and was correct about Dallas and Turco...

I told myself I would never put any $$$ on Turco again after the last playoffs...

Sorry for the late post been out all day... played some early was not at computer... Sorry, had Edmonton and sharks under... Knew Edmonton could skate with Detroit

looking at Monday's games...Trying to figure out Dallas/Colorado.. Leaning to the under in that game, expect Dallas to come out and play much better but once again Turco is the x-factor as he sucks in the playoffs. I don;t think he will be a factor in game 2...

Don't see how the Rangers come back after that debacle in game 1. The Devils are just playing at to high a level right now and Jagr will either be out or very limited as it looked like he separated his shoulder.

Expect Carolina to come out much better than game 1, will be interesting to see if Gerber will come back strong or be pulled.

Philly was outplayed by such a wide margin in game 1 it was not funny, if not for Esche they would have been run out of the building. It looks like Buffalo has to much speed at forward for Philly's plodding defense... Philly needs to make some adjustments or they will get run out of the building in game 2 as I don't expect Buffalo to miss on so many point blank chances...Was going to play Philly both games in Buffalo as I saw good value but now I don't know if I will play game 2...

Sun picks:

Flames/Ducks under 5 -135 (2)

Ottawa -270 (2) Very rare I will lay this in the playoffs
Complete mismatch don't see how Tampa will win 1 game this series...
Tampa will come to play tonight as this is there season more or less and the book is making you pay for it but I want no part of -1.5 this game...

Parlay for the heck of it...

Ottawa -270
Flames U 5 -135 (1 = 1.385)

Also see Calgary winning tonight was thinking of adding them to the parlay but I feel these are the 2 strongest plays tonight...

Really like the Sharks tonight but Nashville is not just going to roll over...

ML is very high at -210 or so and have seen many people have taken SJ on -1.5 puck line... I don't play that line alot in the playoffs. Don't trust that Nashville will just roll over for SJ...So I will pass can't lay that much

WIll be interesting to see what happens in Edmonton tonight I may take them later still debating it...

Ottawa should be focused after giving game 2 away. DOn't expect a repeat performance tonight. Goaltending is a wash and Ottawa is the better team...

Don't see Kippa having back to back bad games. Expect him to come back very strong tonight and this should be another low scoring game Can't believe they made the total 5.5 because of last game but I will take it...

X

Played the under around 5:30 it changed around 6:30 or so....

It must have got hit hard as it went from 5.5 -12X to the next time I saw it about 45 minutes later to 5 -115

Sorry X for not posting earlier... Just when I come home from work I have to make supper and do a hundred other things. When I settle down is when I post....

X Just went back to look at lines and check my bets out...

I did bet it at Under 5 I must have been looking at the SJ over and just clicked quickly...

ANyway I still love the Under and am going to stick with it...Don't think I am going to hedge with the over... In my haste when I got home and running around the house I did not pay close attention...

Still thinking and looking at the late games...

With all the high scoring playoff games so far i also like it
at under 5, especially with these two teams. We are due
for some low scoring postseason action.

Ottawa 5-1 after 2 seems to be in the bank.

Adding:

Going to play

SJ on the -1.5 +154 (3.25)

Oilers +153 (1.5)

I think SJ momentum and Nashville's goalie who has no experience in the playoffs had it easy at home. This is a whole different animal on the road..

Calgary/ANaheim is going to be a dog fight tonight.. This will be a nasty, nasty game I feel...

Detroit/Edmonton another dogfight I believe

Looks to be that no matter how good defensively or how good the goaltender is
with all these PP it does not matter...

Calgary/Anaheim Under not looking like it will come in...I would layoff all unders for the rest of the playoffs. As they are not playing hockey but touch football...

I hope Bettman is happy...
