I think this is why all games have been cut off by 5 minutes from the start time. Its not really like you are shopping for a better line or anything as they are posted the night before the games go off. Rules are rules, and I think it makes it fair for everbody if they are followed to a "T". Looks like Tick may have lost .10 in this instance, but it also looks like its saves some units for others.

Goat Boy: Seven games selected, but only the first six were graded. (Chicago / Tampa Bay under 5 1/2 -110 was ignored.)

Card Father: Seven games selected, but only the first six were graded. (Calgary / Florida under 5 1/2 -105 was ignored.)

Leader.hr: Two selections made on Edmonton- New Jersey side. The second selection (New Jersey pick -230) was ignored.

tick321: Past post plays made at 7:01pm on 7:00pm games were ignored. (Philadelphia / Washington under 5 1/2 -125 and New York Rangers / Columbus under 5 1/2 +110 were ignored.)

Puck didn't drop until 7:09 and the posted time was 7:05. JeffH, you are one of the nicest guys on this forum, what gives?

For better or worse, tuck321's disallowed plays were flat on the evening.

NorthernIce and I discussed this issue and decided to roll the start times back to precisely the top and bottom of the hour. Without going into the specifics of what was discussed, the decision was motivated by a desire to ensure the integrity of the picks made by the contestants.
