We will run this from Thurs, Oct 9th - Thurs, Nov 20th. (42 Playing Dates) After that, you're welcome to join the BetJam $300 Post-up Contest, which starts Nov 21st.
Let's see who's on top of their game right from the start of the regular season. Good chance we will have a couple Polo Shirts to give away to the winner(s).
A little different format for this one but very similar to the NBA Pre-Season Contest going on in the NBA room.
I will post lines daily.
PuckLines, MoneyLines and Totals will be available.
If a line for any game is not posted, it cannot be used as a play.
No lines will be added during the day.
Post a maximum of 3 plays per day.
One post per day.
You must have at least 40 plays to qualify for any prizes. No maximum, all will count.
You may assign multiple units on each play up to a maximum of 5 units. Multiple units are optional however. Note your units with stars * or parentheses ( ).
You will be tracked two ways:
(1) All plays worth 1 unit.
(2) All plays worth actual # units bet.
Deadline to post will be 6:55 PM ET each day. If you play any games starting before 7:00 PM ET, your deadline becomes 5 minutes prior to the first game on your playlist. Any plays posted late will be no action.
On days where all games are scheduled after 7:00 PM ET, bonus points can be earned for posting early:
Ten (10) bonus points go to anyone posting prior to 3:00 PM ET.
Five (5) bonus points go to anyone posting between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM ET.
Posting after 6:00 PM ET, no bonus.
This is sort of an equalizer test to negate the advantage of the last minute steam chasers out there.
Bottom line, there will be two winners.
(1) Best Score based on Single unit plays + bonus.
(2) Best score based on Multi-unit plays + bonus.
Could be the same poster winning both. We'll see.
