Okay so I have been tracking some different kinds of stats for the last 4 years here's some additional info for you and my SC plays.
Divisional Dogs 18-9 in week one
Public is 31-41 in week one
Opening lines within 1 pt of Power rating Fav is 2-10
Top 5 in SC 9.5-11 so almost .500 but last year they went 5-0
So in summary - fade the public, play on divisional dogs and fade lines that look about right.
On a n interesting note I had a good discussion with Seer recently about picking plays on Friday vs Sunday morning.....WE decided to compare picks over the season 5 games, he is welcome to post his plays after the games starts here. I know he watches the line right up to kick off so posting is tough sometimes, but I like what he does alot and he has taught me a few tricks over the years to - Like the Da$ line which is not a factor today by the way.
My SC plays to win $250 each - Played on Friday when I put my picks in
Tampa +2.5... divisional dog with a new HC getting less than a FG vs a historically good home team????? I smell an upset
Saints -1.5.....Lots of love for the raiders this year and for good reason a team on the rise, but the Saints at home with some fresh talent get the job does here. Oakland travelling for an early time zone play
San Diego +6.5.... Divisional Dog if you missed Suma's right up on the Chargers try searching it on the forum.
Lions +3.5....No Johnson no problem, better actually as the lions will have a more balanced attack. This is my top play on the week (so it is to win $500) it went into my RX Super contest team Also played additional $100 on the mL 120....Go lions!
49er's +2.5....Divisional Home dog on MNF, the rvial of the series get cranked up another notch now that the RAMS are in LA ......Beat LA
Sunday AM plays
Bears +4.5 -109 to win $250
Miami +10.5 -112 to win $100....if you missed Suma's write sup on the dolphins go search it. Seattle is a crazy ATS # under Carrol in home openers, think they get the W but fall short ATS
