The totals line set for this game at 48.5 is 3 points higher than it should be by any calculation. Why? Because the Dog - the Bengals - are 5-1 O/U and the traders/oddsmakers also anticipate Big Ben's return which alone is worth another 1.5 points at the least. And the public responded accordingly, pounding the Over in 9 out of the 10 bets placed so far on the totals. But, the Steelers are 1-5 O/U . Each team has been involved once in the games where the total set touched 48 points (The Steelers vs The Rams which ended 12-6 and the Bengals vs the Chargers 24-19), both going under. For the Bengals it was the only game they went under.
I do not see a shootout here at all.

This is a site for grown ups Phixer...for the most part. Mods do a good job of keeping the cry babies in their cribs. I am confident you will feel at home here. Great place to share info, help others and pick up some insight from some very talented people here.
