My apologies for the late post. I had a late wedding to attend.

To view my file you need the following:
1) A program to decompress a .zip file. I provide it as a zip to save precious bandwidth. If you have Windows XP you need not worry about this step as Windows XP will read .zip files. If you don't have Windows XP, you will need a program like winzip, http://www.winzip.com/.
2) A program to view an excel file. Any version of Microsoft Excel will work. If you don't have Microsoft Excel you can use Microsoft's free Excel viewer:

Again, just to be clear, picks to the LEFT of the black bar are straight up.
Picks to the RIGHT of the black bar are against the spread.



Notes and news:
1) I have added the 4 teams each week, from weeks 3 to 10, that have byes. They are in neon green on the left of the excel sheet. It should be pretty clear.
2) Chris Shultz has two more losses than he has on his site. This is due bad math in two picks...NYG/NO week 2 and CLE/IND (bonehead move in copying the spread wrong...he copied 13.5 as 3.5...that kind of throws things off)
3) I just want to let you know the following:
Here are the picks I am able to check against previous weeks to see if my record matches the one the pickers have on their site:
ESPN, CNNSI-Peter King, CNNSI-Dr.Z, Sports-Central-Jeffrey Boswell, SportsColumn.com, AskTheCommish, IGN Man vs. Machine, Jeff Zillgitt-USAToday, Frank Caliendo, ESPN Insider, Yahoo, HBO, Sporting News, Me, Favorites, Home, Vinnie Iyer-Sporting News, Bill Simmons, and Chris Shultz.

That pretty much means you can trust the records I have for them.
The ones I cant check are:
Jay Novacek-MSNBC, the rest of USAToday (minus Jeff Zillgitt), CBS Sportsline, Football.com.

There are 61 sets of picks.
18 of them i cant check the history.
Thus 70.5% of the picks are accurate and checkable.
29.5% of them I cant check and may not be accurate, especially the ATS picks.
I say especially the ATS picks because of all the ATS picks, the ones I cant check against the history are the ones that dont provide scores and are made against the line when the choice was made. If the line changes, so does the pick, something I do not watch for.

As a result the following pickers have records (on site) that differ from the one I have in the pick file:

Hopefully you guys wont mind the minor problems, either on my part, or the line change.

I just copy what I see...if they change their pick I have no control over it...its a pain in the ass, but i had the same problem last year as well...

week after week your data has help to make me a winner for the year in NFL. I dont think you get enough credit for all the work that you do, and the fine data you provide for the thread.

any dumb ass can start a thread, and than go on for a couple of pages of useless bs on his GOY and bet the ranch games. but none of them put in the kind of effort you do, to just provide us with good data to make our own decision

with this data, i use the 3 cappers that have the worse w/l record with the spread, than find every pick where they all agree on, than bet the other way.

i've posted all the game in tulsa thread, but yesterday i had 5 so only posted 4 of them. but ytd is 17-7, not bad for a few min work on the worthless nfl

the three cappers were boswell, war room and dillon

they all have the falcons tonight. i need the falcons to just win straight out in my 270k winner take all pool, the only one with them, all the others had the colts yesterday. the only one that these guys usually win are when most of the cappers are on the same ones, which is opposit of what normally happens, but this had been a very easy year. all but 6 had the colts, and 8 had the niners with 8 on the jets tonight

Pops, it cracks me up how the rest of us cap and scrap and pull our hair out looking for angles and trends, and you just fade the public or a few "crappers" and ca$h!

Not to say you aren't a good capper, just saying I think the rest of us overcomplicate things and create trends that may or may not be there with statistical manipulation. GL tonight.

EL: some of the worse bets i've ever made is when i read a bunch of useless shit for a bunch of cappers that are as dumb as i am, with half having the best reason in the world on paper for the side they are betting on, with the other half have just a good as reason for going the other way. that why i dont read any of them b4 i make any of my bets, on either college or the pro's

btw-go to my thread and dl the spreadsheet i just posted with every college game this year, with opening and closing lines, scores of each game, home away, w/l vs the open and closing spread and w/l with plus and minus points. it's got filters on the top so that you can find the exact situation your looking for. i know you do a lot with o/u, and i didnt put any of that info, cause i just dont bet that many o/u on college games, much lower limits.

cruisin: the print is small, but you just increase the mag. i used boswell, war room and dillon, they all had the following six games

colts-everyone but 6 had colts
wash-everyone but 8 had wash
falcons-everyone but 8 tonight have them as well. so far this year, the only ones that the worst cappers have been winning is when they are with the large majority picks, which is the opposit of what you see in previous years
