Broncos + 3 1/2

There will be more plays later this week, but this is one we need to grab now. The Broncos have won 3 of the last 4 against the Chiefs. The last game they lost was at KC two years ago by a field goal. I expect this game to be decided by no more than 3. It will be tight all the way through.. Take the points and enjoy the best game of the year thus far. I expect Portis to play and play well. The line will be 3 by game time.

Denver can certainly win this game out-right, and now that I'm seeing their defense is ranked #4 I'm not thrilled with my pick, but, I'm not going to bet against the Chiefs until someone proves they can be beat.

Oren - With that theory you have to apply it to the Broncos as well, both teams are undefeated. I love betting both of these teams. They have both made me money this year. I just think this game will be a dandy and either Anderson or Elam wins it with a FG.

I agree with you MFG - I'm taking the points here +3.5 looks like a little trap but I think Denver can win this SU.

Should be a great game but don't forget to take into account who the 2 teams have played so far. That will partially explain their offensive and defensive rankings.

Denver:
@Cincy
@San Diego
Oakland
Detroit

Opponents Combined Record: 4-12

Cincy, SD and Detroit will be among the worst in the league. Oakland yet to be seen how good they are.

Kansas City:
San Diego
Pittsburgh
@Houston
@Baltimore

SD, and Houston will be bad, Pitt, and Balt may be pretty good.

GL to all,
KMAN
Opponents Combined Record: 6-10

Neither team has played a great schedule yet.

Thanks for your input guys. Good to see you here. I think Denver is better than last year and they swept the series. KC is also better, but I don't think they cover here.

Good job. Your alot better than that guy who always bragged about how great he was. He made up some record for last year, i think he said he was 53-29. I don't know about that, but i do know he is 18-30 this year. Keep it up.

LOL Oren no we aren't the same. We just both hate Raiders. Not the team but the poster.

Thanks General for cleaning this thread up with Raiders shilling for himself. Funny how it goes to the rubber room with Raiders stamp on it with 400 views and now comes back here with out Raiders garbage and 13 views. That's funny. Go Broncos.

I like Denver here too. Portis looks like he'll start.

I have a bet with my roommate too. Loser buys the whole household BBQ ribs!

ICE-Your making me hungry. I think Portis will be fine this week.

ADD:

Cardinals + 7 1/2 -105

Using my free half point at Millennium all day Fridays here. Would still take it at 7 if need be. I feel the Cards will hold their own against the Cowboys. The Cowboys are coming of a big road win last week against the Jets and will not be as focused for the Cards this week. The Boys will play more conservative and will kick more FG's than score TD's this week.

MFG, good luck, they might both be winners, knowing you they probably are, I'm just shocked to see the Cowboys have the #1 offense in the NFC?!?!?!?

while Arizona is at 9. They should keep it close somehow, though, you'd think.

I thinkI like Wshington too, see a lot of people on the Eagles, but I don't think they're good enough to win by 6.

Oren--KC got lucky on Hall's punt return. Did you see that block in the back at around the 5 that took out two? It was a good game though. I hedged one/third of my play and took KC - 3.5 in the 2nd half and got lucky and hit both. I squezed out a victory in that Washington game.

Recap: 3-3(YTD 18-6)

Pick for Monday night will be up around noon.
