Any thoughts on Week 3?

Some lopsided match-ups: Giants/Niners, Cowboys/Cardinals, Bears/Chiefs

For me -- hoping Cincinnati does NOT play Burrow this week

NE -2.5 -115

If NE is worth anything whatsoever they beat the Jets with the worst QB in the league. Basically dominated Wilson twice last year, he shouldn’t be in the nfl.

they L this and it’s 0-3 with @ Dallas coming up and season close to a wrap. As close to a must win as you can have this early in the season

The only thing Id say is situational setup wise is that with Rodgers injury, this is basically the Jets superbowl. To drill NE to 0-3 in such a make or break year for them would be the highlight of their year (as I’m sure it’ll get much worse after this)

But you just have to fade Zach Wilson and get it over with. It’ll be the full 3 by Sunday or I’m surprised.

Stafford has looked incredibly sharp ...

the second game the Jets had 100 yards of total offense, that was in Foxborough, NE covered 3.5 on a punt return to win it but they were clearly better all day. This is the game they ask wilson if he feels like offense let the defense down and he goes nah absolutely not lol

the first meeting was pretty competitive but Mac threw a pick 6 at the end of the half that would’ve put Jets up 11. Some idiot with a horrible roughing penalty, 10pt swing. All NE after that.

I don’t disagree with anything you posted, but I really like the Jets this week. I was kind of high on NE entering the season, it’s only two weeks, but I’m starting to think I was simply wrong.

I thought the defense would be excellent and they’ve looked pretty mediocre. Miami, a terrible rushing offense, gutting them when they knew it was coming and the game was on the line, was surprising. Losing two at home to open the season and one in the division, a very difficult division, they may be toast. Philly/Miami no easy task though, but I tend lean towards both of them being somewhat overrated.

Jones isn’t the answer, can’t run the ball, can’t protect, no weapons. It may be a long, long year. I’m probably over reacting a bit, I unloaded on NE ML last week in a must win situation for the Pats and they looked completely lost in all phases, including coaching. At least they do get to face Z Wilson, he’s unbelievably bad. I expect we’ll see a lot more of Hall in this one, that guy is electric. If NE doesn’t sure up the rushing offense/defense, it could be long day. They are allowing nearly a whole yard more per rushing attempt than they gain per attempt, those figures usually apply to rebuilding teams that are terrible. Only two weeks though, so take it with a grain of salt.

NE 4-0 vs Wilson, besides the G Wilson TD Jets had like 100 yards on passing all game vs Dallas, that’s with garbage time. I just gotta ride them under 3 vs this guy.

As much of a joke as NE has possibly become, they do mostly beat bum QBs/teams. Besides the bears/fields loss last year, they’ve basically taken out the trash well the last 3 years.

and again, this is kinda the season. And if you really wanna get espn with it, perhaps an inflection point for some jobs being at stake

that was my other bet I got it at 4.5 when it came out, agree with 3.5 but think it’s 3 now which is closer to right

Got Bijan 12-1 rushing title, he’s a 1 of 1 talent

Was leaning strong to ATL as well, but missed the number I wanted. Bijan is something else, that’s nice ticket to be holding.

i wouldn’t wanna bet on any RB at too high of odds but think Bijan 6-1 is still solid

9ers got their eyes on a 20 game season, think they will work Eli Mitchell in more to spell CMC

Pollard is a monster too

everyone else is marginal imo

Everybody on the planet will take Tennessee assuming the loss of Chubb cripples Cleveland forever and they will slide away into oblivium.

But the Browns lost with two pick sixes against them in Pittsburg and that is unlikely to occur again. Ford is a decent RB he will wear down over the season but not this Sunday. Browns still have weapons and a very solid defense. Watson's play is of concern, he looked bad Monday night. Not a play for me yet, but IMO Cleveland at home deserves a good look.

I like tenn if anything, ugly 20-17 type game

They got the DL to limit browns on the ground, Simmons is the best in the game

Very torn on that Titans/Browns game. Watson looks terrible, and I like Titans as a dog usually. But think Chubb loss may be inflated.

Should be a lower scoring game. Watch it be 35-31

Kicking myself for picking Chargers past week, but I'll probably pick them again

Indy/Baltimore an interesting one too

Bigger picture for the Bengals sake I have to hope the board is right about Lamar Jackson

Overall, the Browns' offense was No. 25 in EPA/play in the games that Watson & Chubb played together.

Deshaun Watson played 7 full games with Nick Chubb (weeks 13-18 last year, week 1 this year) and the Browns passing offense was No. 27 in EPA/play during this span (No. 14 in rush EPA/play).

Starting to sound like Burrow may end up playing

Line creeping back up from 1.5. Wish I had gotten 1.5. Might be decent bet at 2.5

Watson certainly has not looked anything like how he was in Houston. He was a top 5 QB in my book. His play with Brownies puts him in the bottom third of nfl qbs.I took GB -1, Tits + 3'. Sandwich game for Clevland with Balt. on deck. Stefanski sucks and Vrabel always has his teams prepared and ready.Hes been good as a dog. Saints O line does not block verywell, D line has a low pressure rate, saints have won 2 straight, small chance of winning 3 straight from what I have seen .Lafleur has been pretty good off of losses, I know that was with Rogers, but I am starting to think he is a pretty good coach.I can t say that about Allen with the Saints.Hopefully Jones and Watson are back for the pack.
